As usual, this ban was 100% warranted/justified. Get off the high horse. IF a ban is made that isn't justified, other mods/admins will generally jump on it immediately, the person will be unbanned, and an apology made. This happens very rarely because, to be honest, most bans are spot-on.

I know I got a warning for posting an image macro... R1CH does have an EXCELLENT system to actually detect all of those... but what I want to ask; why do some posts with macros get away with them? I've seen a couple over the past month that did not have an auto-warn.

sometimes I got banned for really stupid reasons I think. I don't remember exactly. But I got banned a couple of times for one post where I used too many foul words or for QQing too much. What upset me most about that was that I was basically banned when I had one big post where I QQed a lot, but most of my other posts are usually pretty large and I try to contribute a lot and actually bring arguments tot he table instead of just baseless QQing, whereas others just have no idea how discussion works and just hammer you down with their silly points and logical fallacies and endless QQing, yet none of them get banned.
my first ban I got was for "ruining a good thread". I was banned by kennigit, and I remember being really really upset about it. Like genuinely sad / angry that I was banned for my post. I don't exactly remember the post in question, but it was a thread about something and I posted something in a calm and mannered fashion which was actually on topic as far as I remember, but Ken disagreed with me and banned me for two weeks. Yes, not one, but two weeks. And that was my first ban I ever got. I was like really close to never ever visiting this forum again. That really upset me a lot. Not in a "omg these forum moderators are idiots" way, but more in a way that made me supersad and disappointed.
in short, sometimes I feel like being honest and not idiotic/hypocritical like a lot of people here can really bite you in the ass. you can get banned for simply stating your honest opinion, even if you don't flame others etc. in the progress and try to argue reasonably.
I also got banned for literally calling someone a "fucking idiot" or something like that, and I totally understand that since I asked for the ban in the post (but that guy deserved it, and I think I never did it again after that). But then sometimes I really don't understand why I was banned instead of warned. Or when I was banned not for one or two days, no, like a week or two. That just really hurts. Like, it doesn't make you angry or something, it's just like a mod is trying to tell me: "Please get the fuck out of our forums, we don't like you, we don't want you here". Especially when you get banned for a post which intended no harm.

So in terms of "getting set straight". Well, I think more active about my choice of words right now and also I have some occasions where I write some lengthy post, like at least 1000 words+, then read through it and I'm like "better not post that, some moderator might read something into my post which I didn't intend" and just delete the post and leave it at that. That's not exaggerating or something, but sometimes I really get worried that I'm going to be banned again lol.

I got ban for making Fantasy TL group "big penis owners", and I think it was retarded as this is a medical and not pejorative term, and I will not remake that group, even if the fact remains unquestioned that if I had remade it I would have still belonged.
I used to be dickhead messing around on forums, used to be a mod too, think this changed coz of age, not coz of amount of bans I got/given. I just can't put up with argueing with people over the internet anymore.
