First, why did you decide to skip Battlefury? I think you said in the past that you thought Battlefury was necessary in 99% of games. What made this game different? What made you decide to go for Vlad and Ethereal (IIRC you went Midas -> Vlad -> Manta -> Ethereal)?
Also, when you are up against a difficult lane (e.g., solo against QoP and Lina in this game), what is your general game plan to try to catch up and win?
I am no way near Beesa level but I do similar things when I face a hard lane with little to no(or dumb) support. You give up the lane and spend most of the time in jungle to catch up, only one can hope. I did this mostly on PL(pre-rework) and AM before but can be applied to any hero with not so strong laning phase and/or in pressured lane.

Hey beesa, when you are done with your exams would you be able to make an instructional AM video? I feel like I farm pretty well, but my KDA is usually really low because I struggle with finding kills in the early/mid game before I have a basher/abyssal. This is particularly true if me or my team is far behind so I only make space by split pushing and not by getting critical kills. Usually all my kills come post basher/abyssal which I feel is losing a ton of opportunity.
http://www.dotabuff.com/players/71931229 I think I only have one recent game if you are bored and want to take a look.
alternatively, just playing a few AM games that I can DL and watch would also do wonders most of your games are too old. And do you think the eblade is actually good or is that just clowning around? I imagine it makes your illusions insane, and obviously makes solo kills super easy.

Blinking on top of someone with manta + mana void is a guaranteed solo kill a lot of the time.

I'm assuming you've done this already, but the AM thread in our strategy forum has quite a few decent posts from Beesa. One of them is a gold mine that helped me quite a bit. Might be worth it to go through those if you haven't.

Do it and take the next year off in degeneracy.
Seriously, just study man or you will regret it if you didn't achieve as much as you could.

Yeah I probably play too cautiously, generally in mid game that opportunity arises when you are pushing a tower and they TP to respond, bit I rarely expect just one TP. Even if the odds are I can kill any person who comes in, maybe even 2 people.

builds: 1-1-1 stats the general build for if u start against an offlaner that then gets bullied out of lane with the help of ur support 2-1-1 stats my fav build atm, used for 1v1ing offlaners such as wr/weaver/clinkz/clock/et/centaur. the extra umpph u get from 12 more mana burn is rly good. 1-1-3 stats against darkseer? or rly tough dual lanes like sandking+lina (if u are soloing or get minimal help) 4-1-1 yes ive done this build, but very rarely. i remember doing it in a 2v1 against pudge/rubick and rubick/wk... somehow i managed to win both of those lanes and got kills and didnt get killed?!
when do u start leveling blink? i just try to synchronize lvl4 blink with getting a battlefury... not always tho, sometimes if im scared of dying to strong ganks ~3man i get more stats
a very key thing in winning 1v1 lanes, especially against stuff like windrunner/weaver/clinkz: if u blink the enemy then rightclick him. his creeps will aggro u and u will take like ~50 or more extra dmg from them, so when u are 500 range from enemy creeps, right click him then and there, then blink on him and rightclick him, u will have a 2 second grace period where enemy creeps wont hit u. beating weaver clinkz is ez, coz every blink+manabreak harass also forces them to use invis which in turn makes them run out of mana faster theres another good post by him on that same page further up
