apparently being better is called tryharding i wudnt consider playing with 04/supercell/mason tryhard the pub meta before ranked was just stacking i mean it was a strong stack but it was not tryhard whatsoever compared to other stacks, mainly chinese ones. if we won we won by skill difference if we lost we lost coz we didnt try and had no teamwork and no smokes no wards no detection nothing. it was just ppl playing their own game in a stack Also about calibration: on first day of ranked i had 2 6k accounts, my main which i stacked on and a smurf that i used for solo q only in eu server i gave my other 6k away to a friend coz i didnt know 6k was a big deal yet. my 7k account. it got calbirated to 5350 when valve hardcapped calibration to 5.4k it took me only 220ish games to get to 7k from 5350.... also i randomed all the way up to 6.3k and then i started picking heroes more coz randoming got a bit slow now valve hardcapped calibration to 4.8k and u cant get any higher 04 gave me a 4999 account to play on.. and i already got 5350 on it with 100% winstreak (mostly randoms)

I mean w33 is pretty much the most hyped up pubstar in a long time, but he even seems to have a hard time getting on a tier2 team. Everyone (pubstars, old tier1 players, long time tier2/3 players) seems to just be in an endless shuffle. Few, if anyone, seems to be willing to actually sit down and make a team from square 1 (go NiP?). Unless stars align and a tier1 team invites you Sumail-style, it seems quite impossible. i wud try to make my own team with ppl i know are good and not just pubstars i can somewhat tell who is good or isnt in a competitive setting and not just some 7k pubber then id have to win lots of online tourneys and qualifiers and slowly make my way up, cud also ask some pros for help tho im sure that most of them wudnt bother helping, but theres always ppl like aui_2000 that wud

Also, when you are up against a difficult lane (e.g., solo against QoP and Lina in this game), what is your general game plan to try to catch up and win?

What made you decide to go for Vlad and Ethereal (IIRC you went Midas -> Vlad -> Manta -> Ethereal)? Also, when you are up against a difficult lane (e.g., solo against QoP and Lina in this game), what is your general game plan to try to catch up and win? the answer to all of that is gut feeling

The key to winning that game was to be able to respond and contribute to fights midgame as their lineup had lots of pick-off potential and it doesn't matter if you're 6 slotted against a Troll if their team has snowballed and yours has nothing.

I am no way near Beesa level but I do similar things when I face a hard lane with little to no(or dumb) support. You give up the lane and spend most of the time in jungle to catch up, only one can hope. I did this mostly on PL(pre-rework) and AM before but can be applied to any hero with not so strong laning phase and/or in pressured lane.

http://www.dotabuff.com/players/71931229 I think I only have one recent game if you are bored and want to take a look. alternatively, just playing a few AM games that I can DL and watch would also do wonders most of your games are too old. And do you think the eblade is actually good or is that just clowning around? I imagine it makes your illusions insane, and obviously makes solo kills super easy.

I feel like I farm pretty well, but my KDA is usually really low because I struggle with finding kills in the early/mid game before I have a basher/abyssal. This is particularly true if me or my team is far behind so I only make space by split pushing and not by getting critical kills. Usually all my kills come post basher/abyssal which I feel is losing a ton of opportunity. http://www.dotabuff.com/players/71931229 I think I only have one recent game if you are bored and want to take a look. alternatively, just playing a few AM games that I can DL and watch would also do wonders most of your games are too old. Yeah I probably play too cautiously, generally in mid game that opportunity arises when you are pushing a tower and they TP to respond, bit I rarely expect just one TP. Even if the odds are I can kill any person who comes in, maybe even 2 people.
