Actually although I have no objections at all to "The Tavern" it really, really ought to be called "The Trench" now that somebody has suggested it. X-D

I never realized until now that that tavern has 2 giant stills basically injecting booze into it.

I will say that the "Dota 2 General: General" subsection is currently literally just a mashup of the community news and featured news sections (outside of leloup's stream thread what a hero). Which seems a bit... pointless.

I like how the stills are as big as the structure itself. Priorities.

Still pushing for the Trench, however. It accurately reflects the community as a whole.

Trench has a very negative connotation/inside-jokey feel to it.

Tavern sounds like an off-topic spam area.

I think is shows how seriously the community takes itself(aka, not at all) and promotes the idea that everyone is in the trench, no matter how good you are. That the struggle is real.

Plus its funny and people get the joke instantly.

I'm fine with tavern. Throwbacks to wc3 are good.

Also my stream thread will continue to be a beacon of hope to those that wander the halls of Dota 2 general.
