I digress, creating a "tavern" is understandable given how out of hand it became but creating a separate sub section is like putting a small bandaid over a bullet wound. You really want to improve the quality of discussion on the site as a whole is going to be through strict moderation which is currently absent from liquiddota. TL.net led this example by having absolutely no tolerance for shit posting and bad user behavior, this site is not even close to adhering to those standards. | ||

Regardless, this welcome thread is distinctly NOT a GD-style thread, it's more of an announcement. Posting ferrari stats in it is exceedingly off topic. Also the whole point of reddit is as a content-aggregation community. Trying to aggregate reddit content onto LD is really stupid. Also posting "ferrari is one of the greatest dota players ever" is roughly equivalent to posting "the sky is blue". While ur not wrong, one questions the need for such posts. | ||

with the amount of silly topics we come up with, it'd turn the entire subforum into a clusterfuck of inane topics like "lol what buttons do you use for items", "who has the best stream music", and "is warlock a good counter to splitpushing lycans" - each of which die in a max of 3 pages and stagnate themselves into oblivion. and all this is disregarding the fact that a lot of the time dumb (amusing) discussions only happen because the aggregation of people continuously browsing that single thread. which I admit is a retarded closed loop because people only coalesce on a single thread because of the dumb discussion.. | ||

It appears from reports on twitter that TB has existed surgery for his cancer treatment and the doctors have reported to the surgery to be successful. So the current score is: TB 1 / Cancer 0 Let us all rejoice by playing a game at 60 frames a second and adjusting our POV sliders. | ||
