In "Very High" skill bracket: I pick CM to lane with a juggernaut who is clearly Russian. I lane with him although he's clearly stacking with his Lion friend. This juggernaut proceeds to max ward and crit first and after making vanguard he proceeds to try to farm for a fucking radiance. Meanwhile the solo top lion rushes a dagon and upgrades it while not getting anything else but boots. In the mid lane our DP hits a dominating reverse-beyond godlike against a TA. I want to kill myself ._: | ||

I just played a game where this Windrunner and Mangina, the Anti Mage would run away whenever a fight would break out. The only time we got good fights was at our rax where they kind of had to fight. The AM would farm for the whole game. At the 45 minute mark we had a really good fight where SK got a huge epi off and then Mangina hit every enemy on their team with Mana Void. We teamwipe them 5 for 0. Mangina runs over to the ancients to go get some more farm... Then at the end of the game he says that his 2/0/4 makes him a god when compared to feeders that have scores like 8/10/15(that was mine ;p) because they actually did some fighting while he pranced around all over the map killing creeps. | ||

I also hate how every pub seems to be every man for himself. No roles on teams, if I try to play support the carries run away from me or don't let me initiate or they just bail on me quickly. If I play carry then nobody plays support and nobody buys the damn courier or wards, thus my build just gets so far behind cause I have to buy those things. The learning curve in Dota 2 is high enough for us newcomers without this sorts of people that don't help or just dcs as soon as shit hits the fan. I don't mind losing as long as I get to play a 5v5 and see the other team has a lead or plays well against us but a 5v3 is no fun on either side of the coin. I also hate the smurfers, I thought that was a sc2 thing only where you found high level players that purposely get to the bronze leagues so they can troll people but I've found some in dota as well. People that clearly have a high level by the way they play, last hit and use their heroes and by no means are not lvl 1 players. But I actually feel sad for people like that, if you can't compete with people at your level and have to troll lower levels, that is really sad. | ||

I want to kill myself ._: vg > radi is not that bad on jugg; vg provides a lot of early game power since it makes you really hard to kill while you're spinning which lets you be a lot more aggressive (or farm a lot more safely). radi is a nice followup cus you're pretty much guaranteed to survive for a while in a teamfight anyway usually it's paired with soul ring or bottle and a lot of early-mid game aggression, which might not have happened but that's the idea behind it anyway lol On July 16 2012 08:50 madestro wrote: I just started playing Dota 2 and thus don't have any high knowledge of the game itself (I do know the basics but not super in depth knowledge of items or heroes) but to me the most irritating stuff at low level is how every single game ends up in a 3v5 game where everyone just rushes mid non stop. But I actually feel sad for people like that, if you can't compete with people at your level and have to troll lower levels, that is really sad. in a 3v5 u can just leave, u still get a loss but you don't have to play it out it's pretty frustating to play when you know you've already lost, but try to remember that there's always something you can improve. maybe you could've stunned faster at some point, or went to farm this neutral camp instead of walking back to base, or called a rosh attempt, etc. little things like that might not change the final outcome of the game, but sometimes they can shift the momentum a little, and at the very least you can get a bit of practice out of a losing game also if you're new most of your problems are solved by practicing lasthitting, cus if u can get most of the lasthits you're already better than the vast majority of the people that play dota lol | ||

The game starts, everybody goes to lanes. Razor says not a single thing about only bloodseeker showing up to his lane, and about 2 minutes in a wild jakiro comes out of the jungle which he was prolly stacking and get double kill first blood on our top lane. Ogre asks razor "hey, where was the mia call? whats up down there?" Razor responds "lol nice voice nerd" and then "muted" I then tell the enchantress that is afk farming in our jungle to go up to their jungle (and I assumed he would bring wards cause it would be suicide not to) and help out the 2 guys there with the tri-lane. She also puts me on ignore because I had the audacity to tell him what to do. He takes that as go afk farm in THEIR jungle at the furthest camps possible from the actual lane. Top calls mia, and enchant decided to just keep standing in their jungle with 0 wards up afkfarming and dies instantly to 3 people. She then walks back to our jungle and finds a lvl 7 or so bloodseeker in our jungle too, which she WALKS UP TO AND TRYS TO 1v1. At this point I've already given up. The enchant later tells the other team that he really doesn't know why he picked enchant cause he really hates actually trying and only likes playing afk rightclick heroes that take no thought to play, and also honestly doesn't even want to win when he plays. WHY THE FUCK DO THESE PEOPLE EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||

He and gyro talk shit about me and WR (friend) for the whole game, blaming us for feeding etc. etc. which is pretty hilarious considering you were the one who messed up my early game. They also do stupid shit like putting a ward by the ancients that can't see the rune, and countering that "it's not meant to see the rune". Clearly the fact that you can have a ward that sees both radiant ancients and top rune is beyond them. Eventually we lose the game due to a farmed spec (actually he wasn't even farmed, he had 30 minute radiance) and poor play by zeus and gyro, who screw up competent players but are unable to carry the game themselves. The enemy team in fact only had 2 decent players, the pudge and the undying, the other 3 consisting of a feeding lina, and a sniper and spec who don't farm and just stick with their team and try to gank. The reason why I am posting this on TL is because at the end, the Zeus said "time to go back to sc dota is full of retards". So I am posting here to warn other TL members. Their steam nicknames are kLfan and latersphi and they queue in the SEA region. I hope to God that these 2 are not TL members because I have never seen such a lack of maturity or manners from anyone, not even in dota pubs, let alone anyone from TL. Quite frankly they are scumbags, arrogant players who are wholly incompetent and yet have an inflated sense of their own skill, and extremely bad mannered. They did some straight up pushes, which we all crushed, but since our team was busy in the jungle they always got a tower or a rax and despite my efforts to try to get them to push, they never followed me past the river -.- Then they got megacreeps and we lost.. | ||

But hey! 33 minute game, and CK nearly had BF! Mirana had small crit! Man, with these first items they almost carried so hard! They were so farmed that I didn't need to buy detection because they would kill clinkz before he could go invis! But man, I screwed it up so hard by buying courier and detection. | ||

Alchemist can hold his own decently against Night Stalker, especially considering Night Stalker is a relatively ineffective mid. With acid spray, you easily push the lane hard and can beat him to every rune. | ||

I honestly don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do to win at this game, I used to be in the very high skill bracket, but after playing like 20 games with low rated friends I'm much lower, and the people at this level are way too fucking bad to be carried. | ||
