Some quotes from a Viper in my team yesterday (all at about ~15-20 mins): We: "DOOOON'T" Viper: "WTF are you guys doing.." After he ported into a 1v4 and died while all others weren't even near there (or allready dead  )...We: "Qop is way to fat allready wtf is going on" Viper: "I won mid!"... I really burst out laughing :D... At 15 minutes he had: (normal) Boots, Ring of Health, Stout Shield and some leftover starting stuff.. I think he finnished Vanguard at 25 mins+ :D.... Qop on the other side was dominating, ganking left and right because she was totally unchecked. The game ended at 3X minutes and he had 45 CS. We: "Dude, you were mid, did not gank and have no farm, what did you do?" Viper: "I went ganking, I got a doublekill!" stats for Viper: 1-7 (1-12 at the end of the game). Sigh...Well, it ended like these "QoP gets to fat to fast" games tend to end... Quick and brutal (something like 15-50).. But this guy was pretty hilarious, I don't want to put all the blame on him... But well, most of it .. The picks pretty clearly stated how we had to play (defensive for the lategame)... Well, didn't work that good . | ||

You got to be consistently good with a character to get the bar rising, it's not about one good performance. You're opponents might have been the biggest noobs ever, you might've been in a team that gave you perfect conditions for that score etc ... Actually I think that to get such a score on Spectre, you're opponents must have been really bad. Not doubting you played well but getting no deaths and such a high kill count in a game that seemed to be a ROFLSTOMP given your score, the enemy was probably not very good. As far as my QQ story is concerned, it's basically any game played within the past 2 weeks that was full of ridiculous brainless picks. I guess the new beta keys waves were distributed recently coz 80% of the players I meet in auto MM (in my team or the opposite team) are just totally retarded, picking full carry teams (hell yeah Slardar / Skeleton King / Riki and Bounty), never buying courriers, wards, smokes, dusts etc ... I actually stopped playing if I'm not with a friend, solo MM is pointless since you can't carry a game 1v5. 2v5 is ok but not 1v5 .... | ||

Well, didn't work that good .How does someone fail so badly with Viper. I mean,Viper is one of the best heroes to pub with imo. Especially if you can mid-solo, it is so just fun. Unbelievable last hit potential and can have one of if not the highest LH of the entire team. The range ability plus the slow sting makes harass nearly cruel. I have gotten nearly full bar with Viper and Am from first match. My veno had full bar with a one win/two loss (yup, only 3 games and bad win ration and yet still have full bars). It sort of depends on the hero you are playing. You do not even need to be completely fed, nor your team. So, although you are correct in some respect, not completely with the last comment. | ||

It's not like you're among the best players with a certain hero if you mave a max bar, it's rather that you are among the very worst if you don't. You see, the way it's designed is to give a huge ego boost to noobs and retards so that they can keep plaguing our games with their presence. So almost no matter how bad you will play a hero, you will see a slight progression. And of course, you'll never ever see a degression. I mean, why should there be consequences to bad play? That's ridiculous, this is 2012 not 1998. So just like the SC2 ladder system and every other system involving a ladder of progression of some sort, mass games is valued over actual quality of gameplay. And of course, if you want to find out how many losses you have with each hero, well, fuck you. | ||
