Also, since this is QQ thread, I get to QQ about the frickin' Centaur on my team who didn't leave his lane until after 30 minutes  (not even to, you know, farm more efficiently by grabbing some jungle creeps and stuff. Just static farmed lane)Oh yeah, why the hell does every Centaur I see go vanguard? ITS TERRIBLE ON THAT HERO. Vanguard is a BAD ITEM and everybody who gets it should feel bad  | ||

Edit: And just because Vanguard is bad doesn't mean the old Treads Vanguard Hood build doesn't work. It's still effin' awesome. There are better ways to do it, though. | ||

This isn't the right topic, but my current thoughts on centaur builds centre around BKB vs Hood/Pipe. Hood builds pretty nicely with a RoH in lane for sustain, plus limits how much damage double edge does to yourself and just gives you a ton of regen. Plus pipe is often really good and your team might need somebody to rush it. On the other hand, BKB lets you go insane man-mode with your ult, and it completely negates any double edge damage worries you may have. Plus, it gives some strength (always relevant on cent). BKB costs lots though, doesn't give you regen, and you can't exactly pop BKB every time you want to double edge somebody (or creeps for farm purposes). Plus a fast BKB is a short BKB so... On the other hand again, you really want a BKB at some point, it is just so good for what cent wants to do. And going pipe -> BKB is really bad unless their team is like sand king, sand king, sand king, sand king and sand king. Argh this is tough. I guess it is situational depending on the game. Most people realize that they are placed with "bad" players because they are "bad" themselves...but sometimes you played with decent players who have a bad game, or sometimes you have a bad game (there is a lot of self QQ'ing in this thread). Our team was: Spirit (me), Slardar, Bounty , centaur bloodseeker vs huskar, sniper, drow, earthshaker and rubick. (i'm low in matchmaking ^^). We managed to get a good advantage, but no matter what we were unable to take towers after winning teamfights (the lanes were being pushed too hard by their creeps). In the end we won but it took way too long, it really felt like playing against megacreeps or a nature prophet. Except that drow doesn't have to do anything... | ||

As I've said before, Drow by herself is strong, but not OP. It's when you combine her with another agi ranged that it can get out of control. Luna, Enigma, Sniper. Morphling, Veno et al. | ||

Here's how the picking went, I picked pudge, drow gets picked and says "solo mid". I tell her its a bad idea because TA vs Drow is not so good for Drow compared to a Pudge, as you need small amounts of dmg (rot) to chew through her refract. That accompanied by the fact that our Necrolyte was top means she would have high survivability and the means to farm well. Regardless she goes to mid barracks anyway. I get in position for bottom rune and wait for the creep wave, she is there waiting at mid despite the whole team now telling her to go top. The game starts and there is an invis rune at bot, so now I'm thinking "Ok, Drow mid isn't so bad, we'll get first blood". I tell Drow: "Ok Drow I will go top after first blood, let TA push so we can firstblood". I get in position right next to TA ready to rot. then the game pauses. One of their team has disconnected so we wait, and then Drow says "you know what? Fuck this. TA, Pudge is ready to rot you with invis" and proceeds to feed from level 1 until the end of the game. when we all ask him wtf he says "Last game my mid got stolen by SF and this game is was stolen by Pudge". After TA was 7-0 to this feeder the team decides to stay in the fountain so they can end the game more quickly. Now just as they're mid raxing us, the worst part happened, I got a fucking abandon because I was staying in the fountain for too long. I kept moving around because I thought that the condition for abandonment was your character not moving, not your time well spent in the fountain. Very frustrating, and i'm sure the Drow was laughing at that. Thats my QQ. | ||
