Here's how the picking went, I picked pudge, drow gets picked and says "solo mid". I tell her its a bad idea because TA vs Drow is not so good for Drow compared to a Pudge, as you need small amounts of dmg (rot) to chew through her refract. That accompanied by the fact that our Necrolyte was top means she would have high survivability and the means to farm well. Regardless she goes to mid barracks anyway. I get in position for bottom rune and wait for the creep wave, she is there waiting at mid despite the whole team now telling her to go top. The game starts and there is an invis rune at bot, so now I'm thinking "Ok, Drow mid isn't so bad, we'll get first blood". I tell Drow: "Ok Drow I will go top after first blood, let TA push so we can firstblood". I get in position right next to TA ready to rot. then the game pauses.

One of their team has disconnected so we wait, and then Drow says "you know what? Fuck this. TA, Pudge is ready to rot you with invis" and proceeds to feed from level 1 until the end of the game. when we all ask him wtf he says "Last game my mid got stolen by SF and this game is was stolen by Pudge". After TA was 7-0 to this feeder the team decides to stay in the fountain so they can end the game more quickly. Now just as they're mid raxing us, the worst part happened, I got a fucking abandon because I was staying in the fountain for too long. I kept moving around because I thought that the condition for abandonment was your character not moving, not your time well spent in the fountain. Very frustrating, and i'm sure the Drow was laughing at that.

So I played my first Dota 2 game in a week or so, wanted to try out sniper with his buffs. I farm fairly well and get an early kill in my lane, have near 100 cs at about 19 minutes, but at this point treant leaves my lane and we have no wards. I proceed to try to farm a little bit more, only to die to Nyx Assasin every single time he sees me in a lane. I try to stay with my team and teamfight, especially since BM has necrobook, instead stand in the back and he zips to the back past everyone while BM charges into their front lines, and Nyx keeps picking me off. For the next several teamfights he does this(at one fight at our tier 2 in mid I stand at our tier 3, and NYX comes and kills me at tier 3 while fight is going on at tier 2 where my team is), there is no safe lane to farm in(they have nyx and we have a prophet with aghs pushing everything).

So now that I have died 6-7 times in a row thanks to team fights and trying to farm, and I only have manta/treads/Aquila at around 30 minutes, my beast master decides to tell me how bad I am, and makes fun of my farm(I have 130 cs at 30 minutes, only 30 cs over a 10 min span, also he got mad when I farmed ancients at 20 minutes... so I couldnt farm their either) at the point where he asks me what my cs is, all of our lanes are pushed to their tier 2 and 3s), and tells me to stop feeding, feeder , you know the usual.

I mute BM and complain about him to my team(sorry my team) Eventually we win the game.

Overall awful freaking experience for my first game in a week or so Sniper was probably awful for our team comp etc, and of course I could have played much better, i probably should have been buying sentries or something for myself, and been more clear about my needs.

Not the worst experience ever while winning, that goes to another game where everyone was arguing..

I thought it was great when with the first pic someone took Witch Doc..."Cool someone wants to play support!" And he's decent enough in pubs. I don't usually get so upset when people demand mid either, but the fact that he waited until after the rest of our picks, and I had picked a mid hero, to demand it on a hero not typically known for being mid, and then sucking at it, was just too much.

Semi-seriously, Necro 3 on invoker actually seems pseudo-decent, since a) alacrity on the melee creep is NUTSO given it's 0.75 BAT and b) combined with forge spirits you are talking some pretty sick pushing power, or just a nice easy rosh.
