It's sad when this is considered a good thing in dota now.
Anyway, yeah, my qq, I'm support Lina, with ogre magi as the other one. We got BS and sniper, 2 hard carries. Great! Just farm up some, kill some, then push and win around ~40 mins. Sounds like a good plan, right?
Nope. BS dies 5 times in like 15 mins, no kills at all. Sniper does alright, I gank from mid and net him a few kills, ok. The thing is, somehow we managed to drag out the game to 55 mins, and feed their drow who was like 0-7 to 14-10. dafuq. Thankfully we get 2/3 roshes that game, but then BS and Sniper decides it's a good idea to push mid rax and get stomped 5v2.
...
Fuck this, I'm playing hard carry from now on. Can't trust anyone to be a good carry at all.

I just fed 5 games of dota in a row.

Randoms Lycan, proceeds to do rosh at 9 mins (can you even do that with new Lycan? asking couse i don't really play it), Naga sees gets a kill. One minute later, he respawns. Proceds to do same. Naga sees, gets a kill. Thrid time. Buys smoke, Well, no Naga dosn't see this time. Storm which camped there tho, does . He then gives loads of w/e bullshit excuses. Most funny thing, i got this cocksucking piece of shit again next match. This time on opposite team. 8-0 vs his lane, oh boy THAT FELT GOOD.
So if you see player with nick Dan, don't let him do Rosh on Lycan.

You don't want to play a hero with dot? Well too bad, you've lost the game. Not everyone wants to play venomancer just to be able to take a game from TA. She doesn't require any skills to play well either. Simply put, she's a very boring hero to play against. There's a lot of heroes that can counter her. Not all hero can go mid against her of course, but she's not that exceptional in big battle until she got bkb.
DoT damage/small damage in short period of time: DK's ulti, clock, Huskar, Alchemist, Wisp, Axe, Pudge, SandKing, Skele King, Doom, Lycan's wolf, Undying, Jugg, Sniper, Veno, Viper, Brood, Nature Profit, Orge Magi,Tinker, QoP, DProphet's ulti, Leshrac, Dazzle, DarkSeer, Batrider. Alternatively, Heroes like KotL, Tinker's blind spell can counter her too.
I think it's just a matter of using the right skill on her, and that depends on teammates a lot. I've seen Sandking who only use burrow to hide, not to counter TA, or Alchemist that never use poison spray when going mid against TA...
Nature Profit is an unsual mid hero, but not that uncommon. Trees kill refraction, especially low level one, pretty fast, and can be use to check/destroy rune to stop TA's rune control. If you get caught out of position by traps, just tp back to base easily.

Rhasta is my best hero and every time I faced a SF I won mid or at least I did well. He can't really sustain zap harass, as soon as you hit level 5 he's doomed and has to ferry some regen items or a bottle non stop, and usually he's an easy kill at level 6 (you zap him once, you harass him so he's not too low (so he doesn't salve), then a zap sheep ward trap combo finishes him. Having said that, once in mid-late he hits you so hard and he'll make you suffer TT.

im 12-25 overall....lost 5-6 games today.

Particularly in mid, there aren't many matchups where I'd say "this is easy for SF"--even his "good" matchups can spiral out of his control via weaker last-hitting/laning fundamentals. Particularly in pubs, losing vs. SF lanes is very usually just going to be indicative of you having weaker fundamentals and getting outplayed rather than being some QQ-worthy bad situation you got forced into.

I just played a Huskar, Kunkka, Sniper, Invoker, Windrunner (me) vs Jakiro, Lina, Axe, Bloodseeker and Undying
ok the start of the game didn't go that well but surely if we can drag it into the lategame we'll outcarry them right? right??? wrong. 60 minutes in and Jakiro and Lina are outcarrying everyone.
the thing I'm mad about is not even the lackluster farm that they got, or the fact that the guy had -no- idea how to play Invoker (he randomed it, no problem, so at least let us give you tips) - it's the fact that as far as they were concerned, 5vs5 means 5vs1+1+1+1+1
and no matter how many times you ask (politely) for them to back up or come with you, they go rambo anyway
this is a widespread symptom appearently as I see it in nearly every game. People dashing off to be would be heroes instead of realizing that Dota is a TEAM FUCKING GAME

A bit of a Rant:
Fuck CM - when playing on "mid/high" level whiteout really knowing your teammates.
So... You get 5 people together. Great, now you can play some real teamdota!!111..
Step1: For some reason there is allways at least one guy that thinks you should do the "real" deal and go CM.
After 5+ minutes in the queue, if no one misses the invite, there is finally a game... But don't get all excited now, wait for the captain to pick your team needing every last second of every timer there is because he has a plan in his mind.
So you end up with a "decent" team (I also call these: A 08/15 lineup you would also have gotten when just playing AP when no one picks like a moron)...BUT FINE.. I get it.. It's fucking CM and shit matters!.
So, you begin to play and notice: The guy that almos exclusively plays carries needs to play pure Support on a hero he would never ever pick when alone because the captain knew better what the team needs. 2 guys, that never played a trilane before, are stuck at bottom to support a carry that can't really lasthit but thinks of himself as to good for a quelling blade. Your toplane Solo ends up being there to help the enemy get some extra gold.
Sigh... Seriously... If you play CM because you feel like your "THE CHOSEN ONE THAT PICKS LIKE NO OTHER" with people you don't really know, which are also most probably not truly good players... For the love of everything that is Dota: JUST ASK THEM WHAT THE FUCK THEY WANT TO PLAY and then run totally "normal" Lanes which they actually know how to play and feel comfortable.. Chances are pretty high your opponents will also have a tryhard Captain which leads to you at least winning 1 lane and being on equal/okish levels on the other 2. Seriously, even "bad" combinations work better than forcing people into heroes/roles they don't like or plain don't know...
Or in short: Fuck "pub"-CM's... Play AP.. Work on your teamplay with the same few guys and THEN, once you know each other, play CM. Alone the time you waste per night into Banning/Picking for no reason could lead to 1-2 more games played which would lead to everyone on your team getting better...
btw: The best way to win on midish-level at Dota is to just pick 1 hardcarry and forge a lineup that actually wins the lanes. Rocket science!

For some reason our TLIH's seem to work pretty well in teaching people how to do basic 3-1-1 lanes with proper supporting and shit.
|
And for that reason you need to play CM instead of AP which does actually nothing except taking 10 minutes longer to start the actual game? I just see 0 reasons to play CM "for fun".

He hard counters anything without heavy area damage. Way more annoying than TA imo. and TA cant A-move down a lane and get two towers in the average pub.
PL has a weak early game. TA is monstrous from level 2.

GG lost a game because a retarded kunkka "thought the game was over" and afked in the fountain.

Yeah, the backpack sorting in both Dota 2 and TF2 are atrocious. Silly Valve.
Also, obligatory QQ about teammates who sit beside tombstone at <10% HP trying to farm zombies instead of running outside of the spawn range first

I have a rare strange modifier and four strange items but the modifier keeps saying no tool can be found to attach to? Does anyone know how to attach it or get it to work? It is the Bounty Hunter track gold rare modifier and I have 4 strange items for BH but it wont attach to any of them.....

I have CM on my pick list (I just checked all the boxes) and every 15-20 game searches I get a game of CM.
A lot of the times when the game goes well it's because everyone is mannered and has a good attitude.
When the game goes poorly the rage in CM is so much worse than in the other modes because so many people in CM are just so god damn arrogant. They think that because they're playing in CM, they're automatically better than everyone else. They attribute deaths to noobs playing CM who normally don't, and in general they suffer from "I make no mistakes you all suck" syndrome.
Today I had a CM game where I was solo off as batrider against a trilane of jakiro, sandking, and naix. I couldn't do anything to stop naix farming but I got a decent amount of farm myself. He ended up with a 7 minute armlet or something like that. For 10 minutes I played as safely as possible until finally I got dived by their stun combo under tower against a double creep wave. Our team had already scored first blood and another two kills in bot and mid by that point (so we were up by 3-0). Yet this didn't stop my team from flaming me for "feeding top lane" as my tower was the first to fall after that.
All game I got flamed, to the point where two of my team become convinced I fed first blood, and that losing rax because void gets caught 1v5 when farming ancients by himself is somehow related to me "feeding top" earlier in the game.
Somehow we managed to win the game since we had a better lategame composition, but needless to say I just closed dota immediately after that game and went back to studying. Figures that it wasn't a good way to take a break.

Why are people so freaking stupid is probably the question I asdk myself the most in my entire life.
So we have: KotL [me], Lycan, Juggernaut, Veno and AA Enemies are: Morph, Sniper, Axe, Invoker, Magnus
Both our carries decides to farm the whole game instead of freaking PUSHING, even after we got several towers early in a VERY easy fashion. Not to mention that juggernaut seems to think that he's freakign unvulerable during spin. After we got up to tier2 top, we decide to get tier2 mid. We slowly siege the tower, just doing what our lineup is good at. Then for some unbelivably freakign stupid reason lycan just runs off to botlane, for no appereant reason, I ping the shit out of him, he isn't coming back, we get whiped in mid. all enemies barely survive with ~1/4th of their hp while lycan then proceeds just to go into their jungle, to freaking feed afterwards. Needless to mention, that we lost the game, since everything went downhill after that, because they thought, they could catch up with farm and outcarry heroes like sniper or morphling in lategame. yeah right.

I fucking Despise Huskar , I Really do....My 14 game win streak Broken by fucking Huskars...Lost 3 games in a Row today... His Ult is so fucking stupid and how the fuck does it make sense to give a Strength hero that much Attack Speed.. Plus the fact that your teammates are Retarded doesn't help...Tinker Skills 2 points in Rearm before getting march , Doesn't build BOT and walks back to base every time he uses his q+w combo and suddenly finds all his mana zapped after using rearm at level 7..
On a calmer note , what are the Hard counters to Huskar..I figured out Blademail would do fine but what all heroes can go 1v1 vs him?
