At least the game is interesting when both teams actually have a strategy that isn't "whoever fucks up less" or "whoever gets the better initiation with no vision" or "whichever mid feeds off the sidelanes more".

I went to mainly CM from AP, to at least be able to ban few of the most common picks. It's pretty ridiculous having to play against stacks that put together teams they couldn't in any other mode instantly as the game begins. Despite having to play same stuff over again, there are at least few captains that listen to pick requests for more interesting matches. SD and RD just feel way too random with their hero pools, sure I get occasional good game, but having to deal with mostly salvaged lineup against some Allstar combo majority of time is just irritating. Maybe I just have bad luck.

Dear teammates in the game I just played,
STOP RUNNING AWAY.
Despite my supporting KotL autoattacking constantly and disappearing for large stretches I still got semi-decent farm. When we got to midgame and were looking to push towers then the important thing you should have remembered is "keep together". DO NOT go running off into the jungle as soon as we get onto their side of the river. DO NOT decide to run off and attack the creeps in top lane. And especially DO NOT RUN AWAY WHEN I POP SONG OF THE SIREN FOR THE PURPOSE OF INITIATION.
You may have noticed a pattern in the mid-game fights. We'd have to initiate without one of Shadow Fiend or Sniper because at least one of them would never get with the team for a teamfight. Then I would pop song of the siren. Then a few of you would waste abilities on the invulnerable enemies. Then you'd all run away and I'd be left with a rapidly running out song standing in the middle of at least three of the opposition immediately leading to my death in almost every case. In case you weren't aware, leaving a hard carry to DIE repeatedly is a bad idea.
Furthermore, and this is mainly directed to Shadow Fiend, can you please use your brain whilst trying to come up with a strategy. Asking me to push top lane by myself when I'm SIX LEVELS below any of the opposition and very behind on items thanks to your constantly leaving me to die is not going to end well, ever. Despite this I decided I'd play along and show you. I was immediately crushed on the horns of their Magnus who by this point had a MoM, Shiva's Guard, Daedalus and a Heart of Tarrasque. Not to mention their farmed Juggernaut (with his wonderful BKB meaning I can't even song him) following him up. I'm not a bad player, but I can't take that on when I'm a Naga several levels behind both of them and my only major items being Vanguard, Manta and Diffusal. I would point out that if we'd pushed twenty minutes earlier like I was CALLING for then we'd have killed them straight up; instead I ended up repeatedly dying since you never came along and everyone else ran away as soon as the enemy turned up.

P.S. I'm well aware we won the game despite these difficulties. However I'd point out that Sniper and/or Shadow Fiend running into the aftermath of every teamfight to grab kills on those left over, whilst a good way to get farm for yourself, tends to leave the rest of your team crippled. It'd have been a lot smoother and faster if you'd just come with us like I asked.
I wouldn't mind...but TWO of the enemy had disconnected, one about 40 minutes before the end the other 15-20 or so. It should NOT take an hour to finish them off.

I HATE when people call "gg" 5 minutes into the game and play like its all lost. It's my second post here about the same fucking reason. Naga and Pudge called gg when a rusian sniper appeares and gives fb. WE ARE NOT LOST YET.

Well I play with my friends so I never have that problem. I guess it would be annoying to not have wards/courier but I think I've had that problem once whilst playing in high? Yes, I have fun doing stupid shit, picking hilarious dual melee lanes and jungling the enemy jungle to gank their mid. And the more I think about it I would actually rather have both sidelines feeding then going 10minutes without a single kill.

Viper and his friend CK demand to go top lane together as dire. They then proceed to feed 5 kills to a solo ogre magi within the first 6 minutes of the game. I have no idea how that's even possible. Ogre didn't even get multicast until after the 4th kill.

Oh god, why i took CK. I end with Warlock who constanly push my lane with not stacked camp pulls. Then him and Furion come and push tower. Before like 5 mins. I have horrible farm, lane is pushed. Disruptor camps mid like its his fort (well at least he cant push it). Clink'z doing ok on hard lane. Well, was doing ok till furion and warlock went there and pushed another lane. No one can get any farm, opposite team just tp's when Wl/Furion try to push and kill em. Sad sad game, and when i saw lineup i thought "oh finally good game". And worst part is i would even somewhat adapt to that style if they mentioned early game they want to push towers early. Urn, Drums, late Armlet or np for me. But no, lets just decide its push time without telling anyone.
We got crushed couse opp team finally got feed on creeps and "pro pushers".

I've done shit like that before (though not 5 kills) with a friend because we got overzealous. Basically thinking we should dominate that guy, and when he is playing carefully, we dove like morons. Than you feel like shit cause u got double killed by a solo who is gaining exp big time. So you try to make up for your mistake and as you go on tilt you fuck up again. I think that's how something like this becomes possible.
Usually tho we just zone the solo if we can't get a kill, but fail like that happened to me before, felt very stupid:D

I lost every match i played last night, 6 in a row. ALL BECAUSE INSTA FIRST PICK PUDGE IN MY TEAM EVERY FUCKING TIME. They all went mid and they all failed miserably. And i blame Dendi! Fucking russian navi fankids ruining my games. Also many thanks to valve for matching me with 3 level 9 retards (i'm lvl 24) for 10 games every time i make it in the high skill bracket.

2. Syllabear that has no sense of safety. Even worse, doesn't take his ult at all vs a team with tide, qop, bounty hunter.
The worse part is, these guys have no idea how to use other heroes but spam comments on how to. Sylla tells our undying to place a tombstone to def rax when there's no friendly creeps and he's the only hero - donates slardar 100 gold.
PL 3 wraith bands before building anything meaningful.

Hmmm...has Dendi done anything "interesting" with Pudge lately? I've seen increasing numbers of (bad) Pudges as well so that might explain it. I mean...I had one game last night where my team made some silly picks and lanes and so I ended up having to play Venge on mid vs Pudge having bought support items, so I'm behind already.
Managed to kill him.
Pugna rotated to mid.
I killed him.
Broodmother rotated to mid.
Killed as well.
Broodmother then raged at Pudge because I was level 9 and nicely fed with 3 kills. The two spent the entire game arguing after that point.
I don't know where all these Pudge players are coming from...

But he stopped and i told hinm why  . It also was a really easy lane so it did not matter much.. He did probably use quote: "Shit ass ultimate!" 2-3 times in the whole game (despite going Blink and Forcestaff) but well... at least he wanted to learn i guess.
He also did pretty much everything wrong except.. He didn't feed, he was just generally useless ^^.

So in regards to matchmaking... I've always played DOTA2 exclusively with friends, and I've been one of those people to complain about teammates. I've started solo queu'ing and my games have actually been enjoyable. The skill bracket I play in when I solo queue is much, much higher than when I queue with friends. Therefore, I believe that matchmaking intentionally puts you with lower skilled players when you're queuing with friends.

It's not "bad"... Just pretty often you got 1 guy that clearly does not belong in the game he finds himself in (be it because he's damn good or damn bad).
If i play with some of my truely good friends i get WAY harder games (on shit days it's way above me, on good days I can keep up, far from dominating but not hurting the game either), but one of them actually plays at absolute top level mm... So thats understandable..

Valve used to match stacks of people against people around the average MMR of your stack. But they found that they achieved much better balance by skewing it towards the MMR of the best player in your stack.

TA is a dumb hero. There are heroes that hard counter other heroes, heroes that are tough to mid against, all sorts of bad matchups, etc. etc. But there are no other heroes that hard counter not having a DOT. Literally any hero with no DOT ability is completely worthless against a good TA. Playing SD and your only possible good team comp had no good DOTs? Welp, gg.
