The difference between players in mid/upper 4k bracket is very small, but wow, if you're below that or just above 4k...what a huge fucking difference....
Example: We had a SF who were just 4k (4060). Min 0: He clearly sees SK, Magnus and Lich go for top rune. What does he do? Runs straight at them and gets killed easily.. We all just thought that was a mistake, so no one flamed him. Just play on, we thought. Then he proceedeed to lose mid hard as fuck (even we he got ganks, he died as soon as our supports left mid lane), tps in alone against Jugg when we all are backing off after a team fight (and then complains about no support), and goes farm/push t1 when they are pushing our t3 as 5.
And in our second game. We have a WK who starts crying because we had guy who apparently didn't see that he had marked top lane and picked Drow. I picked Lina mid first, but let Drow mid and went support. WK got what he wanted. Then he proceeded to feed Clock two kills, then he sold all his items and went feeding on purpose.
I'm pretty sure I have more games like these than the average dota player.
The pl I had last game is probably the stupidest person I've encountered in a while. We were 20k xp ahead at around 25 mins due to our pudge playing like a god. We could have easily just won if pl at any time took a time-out from his afk farming endeavours to actually push. He single handedly lost us the game by just afk farming, thinking he could beat them by doing so (they had a sven and 3 other cores while our pl was our only "real" core). The biggest irony is even though he spent the majority of the time just farming, our techies still had 120 more gpm. I just wish this guy never ever ever plays dota again, a won 25 min game turned into a lost 65 min game just because he apparantly thinks wasting everyones time is fun.
Got a lot of fun heroes in my 10 hero challenge, but had a few carries. I hate playing carries. Found the reroll button, thinking that I'd get a set with no carries. Then actually reread the instructions, and found out that I could've played all the non-carries first, then rerolled the reamining unfinished heroes so I wouldn't have to play carry in pub games where everyone else is a carry.
Currently stuck with Storm Spirit as my last hero, and I just keep getting matched with terrible teammates in teams with five carries. The few games where I won turned out not to count, as you had to play allpick or allrandom or whatever for the ten hero challenge to qualify (had a long and fun game in Least Played mode where I won as Storm Spirit, only to find out that it didn't count).
If you're not confident you can chrono heroes that aren't on your team, or have no idea when to use chrono, please do not pick void. I fucking hate that hero.
I don't know what's wrong with the people in my games playing carries. Feels like they are always trying really, really hard to not win for some reason.
Edit: Another game, another failed carry. Does people pick carry to intentionally fuck over their team for "fun" or something. I mean, if it was like one support not trying to win, that can still be dealt with, but highgrounding without a carry is still hard.
Never before have I seen a more useless qop in my life. Linken's sphere first, she's laning against solo mid spectre. Doesn't kill spectre once, gets a dozen kills using her ult solo on the enemy rubick, without aghs so it's never up for important kills, and then tries to point to her KDA and say she was good.
At least the enemy spectre actually agreed with me and told her she sucked and asked why she never tried to kill her mid. What a fucking joke.

I get that feeling all the time that people actually don't want to win and they play accordingly.

I'm a fucking idiot.
to me whenever i play solo my only reason for playing it is to improve and practice a hero and not for having fun .. why ? i rely on stacks for having fun since stacking generally means more coordination and less toxicity .. that's the only advantage it has over playing with complete strangers every game while on solo since you can't really rely on whoever is on your team i always that if i lose the match it's my fault for not being good enough and i can only rely on myself

Mode -sd, I instapick axe and say "jungle or offlane, I dont care".Someone picks AM, nice we have safelane now. Then we get natures prophet, I ask him if he wants jungle or offlane says: "me off". kk nice I go jungle then. 4th pick: Drow, well we dont have too many range heroes but guess u go mid with it then. Last pick: SF?!? WELL i guess u can manage our lanes right? Seems like drow is going bot with prophet and sf mid, well go for it then. SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER, WE HAVE CLIFFJUNGLING "me off" NP, SOLO OFFLANE DROW WITHOUT REGEN AND MID SHADOWFIEND WITHOUT ITEMS LVL1 NECROMASTERY. so i decided to relax a bit and just play my own game, atleast we have lategame with this line-up. i guess. Last check, AM items... BOOTS OF ELVENSKIN + CIRCLET?!?!?
What an idiot. I dont even know. This egotistical twat even had the gall to take MY ancient stacks. Guess what! He was our highest rated player! Probably thought he would show us kids how to play.
