Why on earth does underlord have a point into his aura at lvl 1, let alone before lvl 4?

And in the offlane 2 pts before a point in pit of malice? That has to be a mistake, no? You want the lane to push into you, not the other way around. You dont get anything out of a 2nd pt unless you're killing heroes..and even then..

IDK how high u are bluemoon but lvl 1 aura is definitely the play if you're in the offlane.

broken hero if the supports and carry have low/expensive magic damage, cos you're screwed if there's only phys damage vs a pitlord.

I think you need to look at how you responded to Torte. You're like "i played lots and have 60% winrate LEL listen to me even though I never actually played offlane with him much and am only <4k", and then when he says that you're not in agreement with actual good players and are being to authoritative, you get mad ROFL

Yeah lv1 aura is definitely the build for offlane.

That said, I'm not a big fan of the second point at 4, and support should probably start W.

I'm glad the support is no longer going vlads. That was very weird.

Offlane is Vlad's now.

Yeah, I'm having trouble deciding what to do at Level 4 (the reduction is great, but W is so situational where sometimes it wouldn't save you for escaping a gank/harassment.

Same with support. I had it originally at Level 1 (despite protests) and now the early level in Q could be valuable or the point in W wouldn't help with ganks regardless.

+1 for atrophy at lvl 1 in offlane, the amount of bullying and last hit power it gives you is better than anything else.

+1 for pit at lvl 4, even tho lvl 1 pit is ass, u still need to start levelling pit at some point, and further points in atrophy arent that good until u start seeing teamfights or have the means to farm faster

I really think support should have W at 1.

It's very good in rune fights, it's his only real ganking skill and, unlike offlane, E pushing the lane is a significant factor if you're a safelane support screwing up your carry's equilibrium.

I'm not sure what people's objections were but to me the only reason to go lv1 E is to afk jungle, and that's never going to be a course I'd recommend on a support.

It's a question of opportunity.

Level 1 Pit means I won't have a second point in Firestorm until Level 4.
Which means I won't be able to farm or come online with my core items much later.

All this for a chance to gank/kill the offlaner - which might not be possible if:

My Carry is a passive hero
We don't have a trilane (in my personal experience, you need a slow + Pit + carry to be able to do it)
The offlane has a strong escape

It's so situationally valuable that I have to make a decision. I used to have Pit of Malice at Level 1 - but whenever I played, it never came up and I had to sit in lane to soak exp to get to level 4 whereas if I get an early point in E: I sit in lane for one wave - stack and pull to get even more damage and then I can do a camp all by myself to get to 3.

Then Firestorm comes on and I can stack and pull the hard camp to pull my safe lane and kill a lot of gold/exp over time.

Then Level 4 comes and I have Pit of Malice at a reasonable time without interrupting my safe lane's farm or pushing the lane too hard with my aura.
