For several days now all, or at least most of my map textures in SCII are unexplainably bright white. Maps that are supposed to be grey or green appear as white with only some textures colored in. There is still texture in the sense that it shows lines, or grids or that sort of stuff, but in the wrong color. It is so bright in fact, that I can't really play, since I can't properly see the outlines of buildings and units I'm building for instance.
A few days ago my AMD Catalyst Control Center updated. I think it also detected the installed games and optimalized the settings for them or something like that. No idea if that could be causing this. My drivers are up to date at least.
Steps I've taken so far:
- Double checked that my drivers were up to date (they were)
- Changed around a few graphics options in the game on textures and so on
- Used the repair tool on the Battlenet launcher
- Reinstalled the game
Obviously none have had any effect. I've been playing the game since launch, and have had a few minor issues on this pc before, particularly some freezes and crashes. Haven't had any problems with any other games. Don't know how helpful system specs are, since the game functioned fine until recently, but here they are:
Intel Core i5-3450 3.10 GHz, AMD Radeon 7770 1GB, MSI H77MA-G43, 8GB DDR3 Corsair, running windows 7 64-bit.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me. I need my daily fix of laddering goodness!
