I don't know if this is a problem with Liquipedia, with firefox or something else.
Often times when I use Liquipedia (Sc2 tournament pages) the tab and only this tab kind of crashes. It doesnt matter if I click a link on this Liquipedia page or open a new bookmark in this tab, firefox loads for a second but stops immediately.
I made a 30 sec video (no sound) to help you understand my problem.
I'm using firefox 29.0.1 which is the newest version and never had any issue on TL or any other site.
After you mentioned the ad thing I took a closer look at it. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the World of Tanks ad at the left side since I reloaded Liquipedia pages over and over (at least 50 times) and right now I'm stuck with 2 tabs that both have the mentioned ad.
I didn't change my add-ons in months.
The console shows nothing. There are other tabs full of code but I have no clue about that stuff.
The console thing was a long shot, so if there is nothing obvious, I won't push too much in that direction. We changed the software of the wiki (MediaWiki update) recently, but it was more than a month ago I think. So, from what I understand, the ad may be the culprit. I'll try to reproduce the error, hopefully I can get the World of Tanks ad.
Just want to say I faced the same issue tonight. I was editing a page. Didn't pay attention to the ad. Also using Firefox 29.0.1. I did not install any add-on recently, but that version of Firefox is pretty new.
I tried to reproduce the error, but without success. I'll try to use Firefox on Liquipedia for the next few days, and see if it happens. In the meantime, if you have the same error, don't forget to look at the ads.
There is still the possibility that it comes from a change in the JavaScript code of Liquipedia, but the fact that it doesn't always happen make me think of ads.
At the bottom it keeps saying "Waiting for srv1.reallyfunapps.com...", which appears to be a dead website. It's probably related to one of the ads you were getting served.
