The problems really as simple as the title suggest. When I log into skype for a few seconds im connected, then suddenly my internet lags out. I've got a Cisco DPC3825 DOCSIS as my router. Skype works on other computers in the house, and the internet only cuts out on my end. If I sign out of skype it pops back on. I've gone to the actual skype site-- more than once-- to look for and request new information, to no real avail. IIRC the suggestions involved turning on and off a couple internet connectivity options, which had exactly zero impact. Other than that... nothing.

Did you install any of that or did you just let Windows Update do its thing? There was some thread yesterday with a person having problems with a board using Qualcomm Atheros Killer for networking and some software related to that crashed the PC when doing certain things in SC2.

In my case, I was connecting to a wifi router, and all other computers connected can't surf on the web when the problem come up (can't even ping google). I can't explain it to myself, how a single program can do this. Any LAN DoS software can't do better.

Okay to clear up what I was thinking about when i suggested that, Skype was bought by Microsoft at some point, and then MS being stupid as they are decided to integrate skype into their windows updates. So I think the issue might be related to that in some manner, but I'd wait for R1CH or someone else for input as to how that could be the case.
