Reconnect your BlackWidow to the computer. Restart your computer. Uninstall the drivers that you installed. Reinstall the drivers. Download the BlackWidow Ultimate Firmware Updater and try updating the firmware again. Download an older version of the firmware and try to update the firmware with that. I would suggest trying the keyboard with another computer, but it seems like you've done that already, which likely means the firmware update failed, but it's worth a shot to recheck your driver installations.

Here's a link. The current version should be v1.05. http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=836&nav=0,77,190,82,116 If you use Razer Synapse 2.0, you can't use the legacy drivers, so don't go that route yet. Wait a second, the official links for the firmware updater is broken. What did you use to update the firmware the first time???

But there's no option to update your firmware on the site, so could you link me what you're looking at and how you updated it in the first place?

If it's working and the firmware update completed 100%, could you try the keyboard on another computer to verify that it's still just the keyboard that's going weird? Please verify that the firmware update completed, because there is also a recurring issue with failing firmware updates for the keyboard. If it's just the keyboard, I recommend downloading that updater again and using it. If downloading that updater again fails, you should try an earlier firmware updater. This looks safe, v1.05. http://www.razer.or.kr/zbxe/index.php?mid=firmware&document_srl=132479&sort_index=readed_count&order_type=desc As a side note, you should never have updated your firmware, as there is no way to get to the firmware from Razer's site for the BlackWidow Ultimate.

At this point, unless you want to try another firmware, v1.04 (link) first, then I would boot into BIOS and see if you can get the keyboard working there (to say that it's not a Windows driver issue). If it is a drivers issue, try reinstalling the drivers from here. (Legacy) Otherwise, the only choice I can offer is to use the Synapse 2.0, and all the headaches that it might bring. However, I'm sure you'd rather have an active keyboard with Synapse 2.0 problems then a bricked keyboard. Here is the link to the Synapse 2.0 software. http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=861 It should automatically configure your drivers properly, and hopefully detect the keyboard.
