I'm not really sure about all these differing voltage terms (there are so many). All I know is I have the Core Voltage in CPU-Z at 1.208-1.216. Is this the vcore?

For stability testing, I did 10 runs of Intel Burn Test at maximum preset (used basically all available RAM). My temps stayed under 80 (max of 76 I believe).

Then I did 6 hours of Prime95 using 6GB of RAM. I still have more stability to be doing but I haven't had the chance yet.

Edit: And it seems you're correct about stability. Even though I had done some stability testing of Prime running on it's own, I ran Prime just there to put load on the CPU (to see voltages), and I was browsing at the same time, and it seized up :D After only 30 sec too. SO it seems like I was on the edge of instability while stress testing earlier :D I have it at around 1.232v (voltage offset of + 0.125v in my BIOS) now according to Core Voltage in CPU-Z and HWMonitorPro.

I haven't updated obs in a while. Is 64bit okay to use now, or should I still stick with 32bit?

Not unless you encode twice, and i don't know if OBS has that functionality

Using this now and its less user friendly and the interface isn't extreemly nice either but the funconailty is like 10000 times better compared to xsplit for example, Everything runs smooth and no limitations at all!

9/10 recommend to whole TL lol :D

If you have updated now, it's okay. Game Capture now can capture 32bit games while OBS itself runs at 64bit.

After I close OBS my SC2 fps ingame goes to 30-35 (looks like it gets locked or so) and I need to restart problem.did anyone witness this bug or might know why is it happening?thanks.

Is it possible to make Alt+Tab combination a hotkey for a scene? The built in dialogue window doesn't seem to capture the Tab button at all

I think the "Simple scene switcher" plugin ( http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1785 ) will suit your needs better than trying to use alt+tab.

Hi guys, I needs your help.
Is it only on my Windows 8 64bit there is just black screen, or OBS does not support this system?
Last question. I have this notebooks: Intel® Core™ i5 3210M (2,5 GHz, 3 MB, L3 Cache), AMD Radeon™ HD7670M 2GB, Memory 6GB DDR3 1 600 MHz, HDD: 1TB.
How much set the OBS max bitrate and buffer size on my 1mb/s upload and 10mb/s download. Thanks for help.

You will get a black screen if you use Monitor Capture in OBS while trying to stream a game in fullscreen mode. Either switch to Window Capture or Game Capture or play your game in windowed/borderless mode.

What if I have black screen on desktop and shows only a mouse and the rest black screen? In game is as same, even as I use borderless mode. Whether it fault Windows 8? Can fix it somehow?

Edit: So I did. Add>Software capture>Monitor Capture>OK and only mouse on black background screen.

I recently uninstalled windows 8 from my gaming machine and installed windows 7 home premium. I streamed on Windows 8 and had no problems. Here are my specs. i7 3770 , gtx680 2 gb, 16gb ram. After the install of windows 7 I reinstalled OBS and put my settings back to what they were on windows 8. When I start stream and then turn on game I am getting a ton of FPS LOSS, like 50%. Is there something I missed in the new install, a driver maybe. Can someone help? My internet is 50down and 3+upload.

I was running 8 quality with 2000 bit rate and very fast processing on windows 8, with those settings now I drop frames on windows 7, Help?

Okay I have small problem, perhaps someone can enlighten me. What I want to do is save a local copy of one of my sources but stream 3-4 sources. The idea would be to save the raw footage of the game I'm playing without any talking over it or any of the other sources I have up included in the video. I am aware that you can save a local copy of the streamed footage, but that is not sufficient for my purposes. Here are the things I have tried thus far:
1) Looking through the options of OBS for something similar to this
2) Googled my problem as is
3) Checked the OBS forum for any relevant plugins and/or guides (closest I found was playing audio to yourself that is not streamed)
4) Did some googling to see if I could open up another instance of OBS specifically to record the footage (not using the second instance stream it to twitch)

Anyone have any suggestions? Recording all footage excluding the microphone (while still streaming the microphone) would also be acceptable if that is easier. Using a second program to record the footage (i.e. fraps) introduces too much lag - unless anyone has a good recommendation for that (I'm happy to try anything).

I like to stream with OBS, but one thing I dislike (or can't seem to figure out) is moving stuff around in scenes.

I would like to move a text box to a certain area on a scene (It has my now playing in it for music), but I can't seem to figure out how to move it .

Simply being able to have two instances of OBS up would probably do it. Although, I don't even know how to do that without resorting to a virtual console (which sounds like way too much work for me to put in to get this to work).

EDIT: R1CH solved it! Just needed to add -multi to the command line and then run two instances of OBS. Brilliant!

Unfortunately I can't think of anything . I have no experience with Windows 8 and many people seem to be able to stream just fine with it. Try different capture methods and see if anything else works.

Window Capture: Add>Software Capture>Window Capture>Select Window (You will most likely want Aero disabled for this)
Game Capture: Add>Game Capture>Select Application (As far as I know this works fine with or without Aero)

I remember reading that Windows 8 has much better performance with Monitor Capture than Windows 7 did, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a noticeable decrease in performance if that has been your capture method. As per my usual recommendation, try Window Capture or Game Capture and see if anything changes for the better.
