I have 50mb down, 5 up and the test in xsplits gives me a "yellow" and anything above 3000 bitrate, i get a red. I have a i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz. I also have the quality at "10". Also when i lower it to 2750 or something like that, the stream is lag free but very blurring, i kept the buffer at 3000 as i've heard this decreases the pixellation.

I think you don't have computer good enough Thats actually ping.. if he's receiving frame drops, thats a whole other thing altogether, but if he is receiving command delays on his end its the ping which is either too slow or too much % of packet loss.

![]() My PC specs are (It seems my specs and the OP's are very similar indeed): i5 2500K overclocked to 4.2GHz ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 motherboard 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM 64GB Crucial M4 SSD (SC2 is installed on the SSD if it makes any difference) PNY XLR8 OC2 GTX 560Ti 1GB I play in 1080p but would like to stream in 720p if possible. I'm not too familiar with XSplit so if anyone could tell me what sort of settings I'd be looking at to get the best out of my PC/Internet, that'd be great.

EDIT: Actually, it does the same thing without XSplit brodcasting/open. My FPS was set to 25 though, gonna drop it to 20 and see what happens.

Ok thats good, dont know about the delay. Dont know if that will make a difference but its worth a try!

EDIT: It's only when XSplit is open; Even if it's open and I'm not broadcasting, the game gets choppy.

Hmm weird, try click View - View Scalepoint And setting that to 10% so its not so demanding on your CPU ![]()

![]() It's called 'input lag'. Make sure you have Aero disabled if you are using Screen Region. We recommend using GameSource to prevent input lag, but it's a paid feature only. Edit: This thread might give you some additional tips: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=15270092

2. Let's see a screen shot of your settings and one of Task Manager sorted by cpu usage while running a replay. It's important to be ingame when you do the screen shot (let SC2 be the window in focus - you can force Task Manager to be on top, see its options). 3. You might also need to clear your presentation (save first if you want). 4. Finally can you confirm the input lag is 'cured' by lowering the stream FPS as described in my link? Oh and please give a comment ow two on the tips in the thread I linked to above. The more information you share the easier we can help.

2. Should I do this with XSplit open or broadcasting or just running a replay with XSplit closed? EDIT: Screenshot of running a replay with XSplit open but not broadcasting: ![]() Screenshot of running a replay with XSplit open and broadcasting: ![]() XSplit settings ![]() I also have the resolution set to 1280 x 720 and FPS set to 20. Like I said, I get this even when I'm not broadcasting; Just having XSplit open causes this sort of choppiness when moving around the screen. As you are pointing out, it's not related to broadcasting (encoding), it's all about the capture. You can try different capture methods in Dxtory, GameSource or SCFH. Finally, feel free to try out FFSplit, it would be interesting to know how their capture method handles in your case.
