If the push pins didnt make a horrible KARUNCH sound going down into the board then chances are you didnt do it right.

Probably a poorly seated heatsink, or CPU fan attached to wrong header. after starting sc2, how long does it take to reach these temperatures?

seconds: reseat CPU heatsink

1~5 minutes check CPU fan

5-20 minutes: fix case airflow.

Im guessing prime95 will bluescreen you immediately.
