EPTSo after going through the installation and whatnot, I managed to play 1 minute of a multiplayer game. The game then proceeded to freeze and crash on me.
Since then I have not been able to get into a game at all. I have tried uninstalling, and re installing, but nothing seems to be working.
I am able to get into any server that does NOT have punkbuster enabled. So I think it may be that, but I have already updated my punkbuster to the latest version (god knows how, their website looks like it was designed in the 90's, and hasn't changed)
When I do search for a multiplayer match, here is what happens:
The game manager pops up, and finds a game
I then proceed to go through the rounds, and end up joining a server
The game pops up, and it goes to the loading screen
At the loading screen, the game then freezes. 100% of the time, it will freeze here. I have never been able to get past this point.
I have tried the EA support thing, but they were no help.
My specs for my machine are as follows:
Windows 7 64-bit
Radeon HD 5870
Intel i5 750
4gb of RAM
If I forgot to mention anything, please let me know. And if you have ANYTHING that can help me play some multiplayer, that would be amazing.
