My only options are let people suffer through cropped stream video or buy a new monitor? Is there another solution? Was hoping someone with a little more experience with video streaming could offer some insight, but from what I've gathered there's no hope. Long time TL lurker... sorry if I broke any rules. thanks

You can, however, change your primary resolution to 1920x1080 (16 : 9) to get rid of the crop, I think. Otherwise, you are just going to have to deal with it. I stream with Xsplit at 720 while maintaining my native 16:10 resolution; not worried too much about the bars on the sides.

FME needs some help. I've read people editing their config manually, but have no confirmation if that works. Here are two threads that discuss and offer a solution (use the built-in crop function to make the picture fit perfectly): http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=124256 (look at the very bottom of the OP which links to ![]() http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=124256¤tpage=5#100 I'm honestly not sure if this is what you're referring to, when saying "let people suffer", but I don't think so. The method I refer I to makes the picture fit the monitor in full screen. But keep in mind that if you stream a 16 : 10 picture, the people with 16 : 9 monitors will have bars instead. Can't make everybody happy. Unless the stream player supports some sort of 'ignore aspect ratio'. The above poster also offers a solution. You can change your desktop resolution to a 16 : 9 and use whatever feature your drivers allow (for AMD it's called GPU scaling, which basically keeps the aspect ratio of said resolution while resizing the picture (smaller) without much/any loss in quality but at the expense of borders on your screen)
