I am going to buy the mounting plate tomorrow. The SSD has no moving parts and is very light. You can have it hang around somewhere at an angle without problem while you work on it. You don't have to wait until tomorrow on the mounting thingy. It seems to be popular to just tape it somewhere, for example to the back of the motherboard tray of the case. You could skip buying a mounting bracket. Your case might also have some holes to mount 2.5 inch drives drilled somewhere if you look for it. It needs a SATA data cable and a SATA power cable, the same as a current HDD. The power cable comes from the PSU, the data cable goes to connect to the motherboard. You usually get a few data cables with a motherboard in its box. If your PC is several years old, you should make sure to look for "AHCI" mode for the SATA connections inside the BIOS menus. The alternative is "IDE" or "Legacy" and was the default five years ago. Using AHCI mode is important for the SSD to not get slower over time. You have to do this before you install Windows on the SSD (there's also a way to switch afterwards). You should disconnect all HDDs while you install Windows so it doesn't put the boot loader on a HDD, and you should have the SSD plugged into the first SATA slot of the board after you reconnect the HDDs.

I really just want: - Google Docs or equivalent - a screen - keyboard. 1: Is there an easier way to do this within this price range ? 2: Can I just buy any tablet with ports , upgrade Android to 3.0 (prequisite for google docs) and use Google docs ?

Would the specs on this computer be able to stream SC, LoL, Etc properly with minimum performance issues? http://tinyurl.com/leo6kuy

I actually can't imagine your current PC being worse than the PC you linked to. From what I've heard, that particular CPU is technically quad-core, but really more like a dual-core regarding working on video. The GPU is useless. It's only in that particular PC because the FX CPU does not have integrated graphics. I don't feel confident about judging it like this, so you might want to ignore me.

From what I've heard, that particular CPU is technically quad-core, but really more like a dual-core regarding working on video It's 2 module 4 thread and scales probably like 3.5x, but i3 w/ 2 haswell cores and hyperthreading is just really damn good in comparison, anandtech puts fx4300 @7.39fps second pass x264 bench 5.0, i'm pretty sure that you can beat that with i3 while performing 50+% better in sc2, but neither are ideal cpu's for gaming+streaming http://images.hardwarecanucks.com/image//skymtl/CPU/KAVERI-APU/KAVERI-APU-57.jpg i3 wins by ~4% there (and it's not the flagship model) even with old encoder that doesn't use avx2 (so it's maybe 10% with that?) but i5 4670 pulls away further so it should be like 14fps vs 7.56 (i5 4670 vs fx4300)

^ I didn't look very hard, but I'm pretty sure the 7730 is a good bit better than the 630. Either way, the CPU is a million times better which is mandatory for streaming.

HD 7730 should do medium settings too on the older games. This is a little cheaper and not much worse ($485 after coupon code LOGICBUY15HP): http://www.logicbuy.com/OpenDeal.aspx?deal=46878&afscr=1 Win 8.1 64-bit Core i5-4430 6 GB DDR3 1600 MHz 1 TB hard drive Throw in an HD 7750 for $90 or so: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229496

6 GB DDR3 1600 MHz That's kinda silly, using flex like that (2gb+4gb.. only 2/3'rds of the RAM gets dual channel bandwidth)

StarCraft 1 like any program has independent data strings for each piece of information in the game. My goal is to read this data string and place it into a constantly updating .txt file. There are two data strings I have, Total Score of Player A and Total Score of Player B. I want to combine the two. So like Player A is 15 Player B is 14 the output becomes 29 places into the text file. So my logic is Data stream of Player A is A Data stream of Player B is B ReadProcessData of A ReadProcessData of B combine? (I don't know C++ function to add) A and B to result in C Fstream C to TeamA.txt **refresh every .2sec** As long as the data streams are consider variables you can add them no? Any assistance is appreciate, if you'd like to help me please PM me. Thanks.

Account compromised on other system, moved to clean system, changed email password, used "can't log in" on bnet to recover password using name and some other info including the code for WoW purchase on the account (i had 2005 dated manual sat next to me, that's easy part) I have control of bnet account, username, password, but when it was compromised somebody added an authenticator to it. I can't remove that, i can't log in and i can't see any way to contact blizzard from the site - what's best way to proceed from here? As an example of problems: Secret Question Instructions To verify that you are the account owner, please enter your secret question answer or attach a picture of your government-issued identification to your ticket. School ID will not be accepted. Without a secret question answer or ID, Blizzard Customer Support will not be able to address your issue. If you don't remember your secret question answer and plan to attach an ID instead, enter "I don't know" in the box below. I don't have any form of ID and they won't ask you the secret question - they only provide a list of like 20 questions that you may have chosen - I have no idea which one i used as the account was registered in 2005, and i don't think that anybody should be expected to remember that edit: Got live chat popup after looping through a few times. Hopefully that sorts it - i'm surprised how many brick walls there were here, it took probably a minute to change email password and reclaim bnet username+password with serial code from WoW, but just no way to remove the authenticator that was thrown on Got it now. That was.. a little weird

After booting into windows everything is fine. I can run games etc. with no problem just that the startup is really bugging me out. Note that this does not happen with my old GFX (GTX 280) nor on integrated graphic. Any idea? Here's my specs: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Intel i5 3570K G.Force 2x4GB RAM Intel 520 SSD EVGA GTX 760 Seasonix X Series 650W Edit: Drivers etc. are all updated to the latest versions.

The difference between the graphics cards might be in a UEFI GOP video-BIOS being available on the GTX 760, which is still something pretty new. When this motherboard came out, UEFI in general was still a bit unusual, and the BIOS programmers tweaked the UEFI stuff of the BIOS a lot over the last year, so this might be related.

1. Would it be a noticeable upgrade for 1920x1080 gaming? 2. If i did get the 780, would I need to upgrade my power supply? Currently I have a Rosewill Capstone 450w PSU and am running a lightly overclocked i5 3570k, a hard drive+SSD.
