And on a related note, would I be able to use Skype video (separately) at my upload bandwidth? Edit: please use this >>> 2.5 megabit/s download, 0.5 megabit/s upload approximately

Are you on Bell's Essential Plus plan? It has a very small monthly bandwidth cap so I'd be careful streaming if I were you...

The bandwidth cap skyR mentioned would also limit streaming quite a bit too. He's talking about 70 kBps which equates to 1 Mbps.

Not sure if upload does not affect game play. I got some lag due to my location (Argentina)... but i cant stream and play at the same time either. Even if i alocate only 30/50 KB/s to the stream.. (Got 90 KB/s total upload) Could it be a problem with the broadcastin progam we use?

Considering SC2 and Skype is also using some upload, and you don't want to have your output maxed out constantly, you can maybe support a 320 Kb/s (40 KB/s) average stream. For reference, I checked a random SC2 match vid on Youtube. The 640x360 (360p) .flv is about 750 Kb/s average. edit: typos unfortunate lol, I had one too

Look around, the majority of Canadians have horrible internet plans that are overpriced compared to many many other countries.

Regardless, I can imagine somebody being on a 1000 kbps plan and getting like 600 kbps upload in reality because of line quality. If 70 KBps is the observed throughput, I'm treating that like that's all the connection will provide. Where I live in the US, Bell offers 6 Mbps / 512 kbps as the maximum plan in some areas, with things like 3 Mbps / 384 kbps and 1.5 Mbps / 256 kbps as other options. Sometimes max offered is less than 6 Mbps down depending on distance from the CO, sometimes much higher like 20 Mbps down, like in more populated areas or a string of apartment complexes. I would assume there are more gradations in different parts of Canada as well. That was a guess on my part--probably actual Canadians know more than me about this.
