hello Tl'ers.
so i'll get right to it. i love the low profile keys on my dell inspirion laptop. i am using a desktop now. and the keys on the DELL Block are high profile. i can hardly spell correctly w/ this keyboard.
So what is my question? Please help me find a windows, low profile keyboard before i lose control of myself and throw this block at a random stranger (lol). i would also prefer if it had a backlit (i love to play at night) and a volume contoller. money is no option,
thanks. if i sound selffish it is because i had searched awhile for this kind of keyboards. and i gotten nowhere. please help because u guys are much smarter than me in the topic.

Imma throw out some suggestions that might help you out:
1. use a wrist rest, that raises your wrists so that the keys will be lower for you to type on, because i know those dell keyboards are soo ridiculously high, but i love those rubber domes ^.^
2.Low Profile Keyboards like Artosa, Lycosa, and the one that Lyzon suggested are pretty good keyboards, but the Arctosa and the Lycosa has quite deep key presses despite its looks, and i dont like typing on it due to the fact that, all the keys are pretty much at the same elevation that for me makes it hell to type on
Dont worry mate, its all under control, use suggestion one first, but first of all try using a book for some sort of kinda thickish thing to try supporting one hand , and see how it feels like first, and if you like it and feels like you can actually type on the keyboard, great! Books are a nice test run to see how they feel.
I personally would not suggest using low profile keyboards because all my life i have been typing on something that has a slanted angle, and i never found a flat keyboard typable, but thats just my opinion. go to some electronics store and see how you like the Logitech Illuminated keyboard, it has laptop like keys with sliders, its not bad.

Would like to know how good Low Profile keyboards vs High profile in terms of playing sc2. I believe typing is better on low profiles. What about gaming? Currently looking for silent linear switches and not sure about profiles.

At the very first, I couldn't believe that you got nowhere and irritated at high profile keyboard because it's absolutely not agreeable. High Profile Keyboards are high profile as their qualities are lit.
Ask anyone. They are surely going to suggest you High Profile again.
If you're having problems, then there's a thing that comes mainly with luxurious ones, but you can also buy that accessory called "Wrist Rest".
This platform is very vast, and yes, some very knowledgeable people exist here. So you are at the very right place for your problem.
I would suggest that you should keep yourself with a High Profile Keyboard and buy one Wrist Rest.
