ok so heres the problem ,
i wanted to log in today and i got this

i tried to change the pw it still didnt worked,
and after a reinstall i got this

i talked to many people already and it seems like noone can log into xsplit anymore
so if theres someone who knows about this issue or sth more specific informations pls post it here

Hi,
It seems that one of our servers is having some problems causing the
login to fail. We have already alerted our engineers and they're working
on immediately resolving this issue.
In the meantime, here's what you can do to work around the problem.
If you were you able to login before the problem occurred, please
follow this steps:
1. Make a backup of xsplit.db, w/c is usually located in c:\program
files\splitmedialabs\xsplit\db
2. Download the latest release in tier 3 via the direct link:
http://www.xsplit.com/download/dev/xsplit_patch_v1.0.1103.1702.msi
3. Install the patch.
4. Restore xsplit.db to the folder in step 1.
5. Launch XSplit Broadcaster and try logging in.
Note that the workaround above rely on the fact that you have
successfully logged in before the problem started happening and that you
have not reinstalled XSplit Broadcaster before making a backup of
xsplit.db. If this is not the case, then we regret that you will have to
stand by until our engineers deliver the fix.

I'm also having the same problem.
From what I can gather this sort of thing has happened before and once they sort their login server or whatever the problem is out everything will be back to normal. Hopefully it shouldnt take more than a couple of hours.

Hmm I just tried to log in as well and it didn't work. Xsplit log in servers might be down considering this isn't a standalone problem.

im having the same problem, glad its not just me. my room mate is streaming but maybe he was logged in before this server issue? who knows, hopefully it returns to normal

I'm having the same problem... thank goodness i came to TL i was going through my router settings like crazy pulling hair... all i had to do was take a deep breath and log on to trusty TL and know it wasn't my new router causing the issue! WEEEE

I was trying to log in a few times then I got an application error with my xsplit. I sent a bug report to xsplit from that error and then it let me log in. I'm currently on and streaming now with it, although it did give me an error saying that it couldn't contact the main server and would put a watermark on the stream.
Sorry I couldnt be of more help though, mine literally let me log in after trying a bunch of times and it crashing.

well its pretty complicated.... i dont have a watermark..i get errors on startup and layered capture doesnt work! as a result of that sc2 recording and streaming DOESNT work.... it freezes somehow in the game when i saw the recorded....
wtf is wrong with them.....
mouse cursor keep flashing....and i also CANNOT save xsplit settings....error synchronizing with the server settings will be saved locally.

The problem is apparrently solved now according to the xsplit website, they just left this message.

Hello everyone,
I was searching around in google to see what the problem with xsplit was and I'm glad to see that it was not just me. I am a little concerned, too, with their reported fix of the problem because I cannot log into xsplit at the moment. I have not tried the solution that was posted previously, but I don't want to fiddle around with things I don't fully understand anyway.
If anyone has another program in mind that they stream with, a suggestion would be appreciated. Until then, it looks like I wait.

its working for me too...you just shouldnt unistall it and reinstall it.
just use the link mentioned by OP after saving your xsplit.db file.
DO NOT REINSTALL XSPLIT.
verything works fine.
if u re having issues with lag and layered windows just RE-add your screen region u want to capture.
only thing is the message at the start which says unable to check for updates. it doesnt matter.

As an update, too, I have been able to log into xsplit multiple times yesterday afternoon and evening. I'm assuming the issues have been fixed but it does seem that every time I try to log in, I'm holding my breath. Hope all continues to go well.

It's been off and on all weekend for me. Hope whatever the problem was has been sorted out by now. I think someone at Xsplit just wanted to play god with the streaming world for a few days lol.

Problem seems to have reappeared as of about five minutes ago.

I can log in and I updated using the method mentioned above but now my mouse cursor gets blinky when xsplit is open. totally new problem.

Yeah i did what the people at Xsplit said you should do, save the .db file etc.
I can stream and everything but the cursor gets blinky when i start xsplit, like Vari above me. Also the stream is lagging hard, the gameplay is fine, just the stream.

readd the screen region and you ll be fine. del the old one. thats how i fixed the laggy blinky cursor

If you choose to update to this release please note that you need to remove all your screen capture sources and re-add them after installing the update and every time you change your screen capture settings.

FFS do not download the older version...JUST re add screen region if mouse cursor is flickering... no perfomance drops for me and everything is fine + local recording on newest patch.
if you have readded the screen region you would have NO mouse flickerings or layered windows.

I tried the above-mentioned solution update and I still continue to get the "Sorry, you must be online blah blah blah"... This is like the 7th I use it.

Just checked mine and it let me log in but stated that it was unable to check with the server and a watermark may be enabled but not for local recording.

I had the same issue and simply fixed it by going into task manager and stopping xsplit then reopening. Works perfect but it isn't a permanent fix, so you may have to redo it frequently.

People who already have an xsplit account should be able to stream, but with a watermark in the bottom right. People who don't have an account and have even downloaded the client are still SOL until the server issue is resolved, though. Sadly, I fall into the second group.
