the school's instructions for internet browsers was to "automatically detect settings" or to use a script here: http://proxy.ucd.ie/proxy.pac when i realized that none of my programs worked, i went to IT and he said that all programs are blocked from the internet. however, he went into my AIM settings and routed it through a proxy, and it worked. it was HTTP/HTTPS through proxy.ucd.ie port 8484. i assumed since AIM could be unlocked, all programs could be unlocked too, as long as there was some way of routing them through a proxy. currently on proxycap, i listed proxy.ucd.ie as a SOCKS proxy through port 80. i made a rule to make starcraft1 run through this proxy (both udp and tcp) but it could not find a server. | ||
