Hello,
I own a Qpad ct mousepad, and a logitech g3, and have a somewhat strange issue.
The pad and the mouse individually are both great, but not so good when used together. After a week or so of use, it seems like the teflon feet of the g3 rub off a bit on the mouse pad, making it smoother and shinier... and that makes it stick to the mouse, increasing friction. Wide movements are fine, but small and accurate movements become difficult to perform.
I've tried using a cheap mouse with plastic feet on that pad, it works great, the friction is low. I've also tried the g3 on a hard surface (table), it's great too (but it wears off the mouse feet quickly).
Has anyone else had a similar issue ? Is this a problem with the pad or with the mouse ? And is there a solution ? I'm thinking about buying a steelseries cloth pad, I hope it won't have this problem.

I have a cloth pad, it's still a bit rough. I'd recommend a higher sensitivity, or just practicing more I have a logitech MX518 and CM STORM cloth mousepad. I think the feet are designed to be that way to be honest.

This is a known issue with cloth pads. Try coating your mouse pad with silicone spray (aka cockpit spray). Make sure you clean the pad before you do this and let the silicone dry for a few minutes before using your mouse on it. When the pad is properly sealed with the silicone, the teflon feet should glide over the pad very smoothly.
Do this on on your own risk. Don´t blame me if you ruin your mousepad. I personaly did this when I played quake back in the day. I should mention that I used very cheap generic cloth pads, so I don´t know how this will effect your specific pad.
Sorry for the bad english

Thanks for the answers, I tried the silicone spray, it didn't ruin my pad and it solves the problem so far. I'll see how it holds up over time.
