Did you mean to say "yes" for overclocking? The i5-2500k has no advantage over the i5-2500 except for having the unlocked multiplier for overclocking, you don't need an aftermarket CPU cooler unless you're overclocking, and you don't need a P67 (or Z68) motherboard unless you're overclocking. Just get a H67 motherboard with the ports and features you need, or even H61.
That is an absolutely ridiculous price for a Seasonic M12II. You also don't need nearly that high of a wattage, especially since you don't need a ridiculous GPU to play games on medium-high. The Antec Neo Eco 450C is manufactured by Seasonic on the same base design as a slightly earlier revision of the M12II, just it's not modular and uses slightly cheaper components here and there. But it's only $60 for mostly the same product.
edit: lower than the M12II in price, the Antec TruePower New (Seasonic OEM, partially modular), Silverstone Strider Plus 600W (Enhance OEM, fully modular), Corsair TX V2 (Seasonic OEM), Corsair HX650 (Seasonic OEM, modular), Antec Earthwatts Green 650w (Delta OEM), Antec High Current Gamer 750W (Delta OEM), and arguably a few others are all better.
8GB of cas9 1333MHz memory should be about $30 to $45.
No, that's a terrible power supply. Coolermaster power supplies are generally terrible. It doesn't have PFC, no 80+ certification, only one PCIe connector (your GTX 460 requires two so you'll using adapters...), and only provides 26a on the 12v rail (a 460w power supply is suppose to provide around 34a on the 12v).
If you're looking for a new non shit power supply, you could look into getting a Antec Neo Eco 520, Antec High Current Gamer 520, Antec Earthwatts 500, or an XFX Core Edition Pro 450 (NOT THE V2). To tell whether a power supply is good or not, you need to look at the internals aka just look at reviews from jonnyguru or hardwaresecrets, etc. (not newegg reviews). Generally, most of Corsair, XFX, Antec, and Seasonic power supplies are good. Power supplies are quite complicated so just ask if you are unsure of its quality.
So here's my revised set-up. CPU - i5 2500k (i prefer to get it at newegg since i dont have a car to get to microcenter) Motherboard - Asus P8P67 Graphics - MSI GTX460 (already owned)
Memory - So instead of 1600mhz, what is one that is a better recommendation for a 1333mhz?
PSU - On second thought, I think I prefer that I have a PSU recommended to me due to lack of knowledge
Case - I'm still not sure if my current case is fine or if I need to get myself a new case

Literally any 1333mhz is the same, just find the cheapest one
Hey guys, I have a build for a friend who wants to play SC2 and other games in the future, has a budget around 1700-1800 (has keyboard and mouse + sound system). Was seeing if any improvements could be made.
Ya it's not necessary if your power supply already provides the necessary PCIe connectors.
@Nephrite
It's a good build but the 6950 2GB may be a little overkill if you aren't planning to do Eyefinity (which you aren't since you aren't getting a CrossfireX capable motherboard) or play texture heavy games at max AF/AA. 1GB variant will perform the same in most of the games.
600w is overkill, you can get the 500w variant if you want a modular power supply. If not, you can get the Antec High Current Gamer 520 or Neo Eco 520.
Unless your friend is playing on >1 monitor or above 1920x1080 the 1GB version of the 6950 will perform around the same. Also save ~$15 and get the G.Skill NT 8gb kit at 1333Mhz as having that memory will only improve performance by a couple of FPS.
Other than that looks pretty good, that big a psu isn't strictly needed but if you want modular it's not a bad choice. Blu-ray drive is also not really needed but could be nice to have.

500W Silverstone Strider Plus variant is FSP and is significantly worse, with somewhat poor voltage regulation and transient response. If full modularity is not needed, I'd consider something else though, that's for sure. Actually PCCaseGear doesn't seem to offer the ST50F-P, so it's a moot point.

True. It's just there for people who don't have the proper connections on their PSU.
Haha nice! I believe if something like that happens in the U.S. it's illegal to keep them :o. There was some ruling about it, petty amounts you're allowed to keep (imagine getting a free watermelon on accident via grocery store b/c clerk didn't ring you up), but in a situation say they accidentally charged you $1,000 for a car instead of $10,000, it's illegal not to report the discrepancy. Not sure if something like that exists in Sweden.
Lol, yeah maybe. I guess there is some law against it in Sweden as well but I'm not sure. I could "forget to open the box" and see if they notice. I'm such a pussy though, I'm not sure I would dare to sell them.
OK guys, one last question since you have been so good to me before I boot up my comp for the first time. My Antec 920 install manual says to install software before installing the cooler, I also read this on newegg that people didnt do this and it screwed them.
So do I install the stock CPU fan to get this thing running or just leave it off till i get the comp up n running to install the software?

If you do decide to sell them I'll gladly buy one
They sent you 10, that's so funny
Kind of silly though, if they fuck up, that's their responsibility

I have no idea about the Antec water cooler and why the software is necessary (so I advise just following what they say), but whatever you do, don't try running the computer without any heatsink on the CPU.
