The prices are the same, if not cheaper, the only reason i'd buy from ncix was the tax overall made the big difference. | ||

As far as performance goes, the CPU will need a bit of an overclock (not hard) to reach its full potential. If you don't need 6 cores, you should consider the AMD Phenom II X4 955, which is a higher clocked quad core with an unlocked multiplier. | ||

You can get some cheaper 1333MHz RAM for $90. Brought my total cost down to $907. I feel comfortable with Gigabyte never really tried any ASUS products. Any thoughts on a cpu fan? And do you think I would have any need to OC the cpu? *edit* And does anyone have an opinion on the case? The one I picked was pretty cheap but had good review. Any thoughts? | ||
