Is it possible that there was just a string missing from the .txt file that I used? I don't see
"Button/Hotkey/Stimpack=T" in there or anything like that, but I also notice that some of the names for upgrades in the .txt file don't match the ones used in-game, so I might just be overlooking it

STMPACK ISSUE SOLVED !!!!!

OKAY GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO FIX THE STIMPACK PROBLEM !!!!!!!!

Here is the way to fix it :

1. Go to your Gamehotkeys.txt
2. Open it.
3. Replace
"Button/Hotkey/StimPack=Z
Button/Hotkey/StimPack_NRS=I
Button/Hotkey/Stim_NRS=I
Button/Hotkey/StimPack=Z"

by :

"Button/Hotkey/StimPack=Z
Button/Hotkey/StimPack_NRS=W
Button/Hotkey/StimRedirect=W
Button/Hotkey/StimRedirect_NRS=I
Button/Hotkey/Stim_NRS=I
Button/Hotkey/Stimpack=Z"

(I made Z to research stimpack, and W to use it in bunker)

4. Do the mpq stuff again : replace your old gamehotkeys.

AND NOW IT WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!! FIXED FOR RESEARCH AND FOR BUNKER USE !!!!

I just registered an account to say "Thanks for making this program!"

I reassigned `qwert to group keys all the Protoss shortcuts to asdfg zxcv. alt+e, alt+s, alt+d, alt+f became camera movement a la wasd controls, and capslock became backspace (nexus toggle).

Now I just need to retrain my mind... its hard to shrug habits.

Hey! I don't know if you have the same problem, but with the newest patch (from today) the moment I changed the GameHotkeys.txt in patch-plPL.SC2Archive the game cannot launch properly. It starts to download patches from the first one and does it in a neverending loop (going up to 100% then starting again from 0% and so on). Do you have the same issues or did I just messed something up?

I don't know why it happens, in my EU/RU versions all works fine.

Would you guys want a command script that you can run to create all the needed entries for the NRS version of the keboard layout. (Which would allow lefties more keys on the right side of the keyboard, like equals, minus, and plus.) This won't work for Grid, but will only work for the NRS version.

I'm trying to get my customkeys with a grid and A = attack, Z = move.
Can anyone share some customkeys or ".mpq" so I have to change these 2 buttons only ?

hi, im using the english version of SC2, but my keyboard layout is german.
So, im playing protoss and using grid hotkeys.
The "Select All Warpgate" annoys me very much, because i have to change the keyboard layout everytime i log in.

So I tried this tool, but it seems I just can change the "Select All Warpgates"-Hotkey for the Standard keys, not for the Grid keys.

Any suggestions?

There is 2 reasons:
1. He thinks that two first posts is my posts as smuf (i don't even know who that guys)
2. ClamAV founds PUA.Packed.PECompact-1 (ofc the program packed with PE Compact)

Thanks. It makes game so much easier because blizzard hotkeys=crap. I use hotkeys 1,2,3,4,Q,W,E,R for unit hotkeys instead 5,6,7,8. So for buildings I use a,s,d,f,z,x,c,v. It goes soo much smoother now. attacking,moving,hold position=a,s,d,f. rally point=f. I keep everything very close to asdw which means less downtime and less missclicks because I don't have xxl large hands to play with buttons like P or 9.

Also there is nothing wrong with Tiler version I used his versions for many weeks.

And I don't see any reason why need change anything grid. Just configure every single keys for standard and you're done. It takes only 10min. Grid sucks because it doesn't allow use control groups q,w,e,r

Is it possible to remap some of the keys to mouse buttons (it doesn't seem to work so maybe it is possible for you to put that feature in)?

My mouse doesn't have software/drivers so that I can remap mouse buttons to keyboard buttons. I haven't found software that can remap mouse buttons to keyboard. I would like to have one of my mouse buttons to be mapped to "A" for Attack.

Edit Found a software called X Mouse Button Control that allows rebinding of mouse buttons to keyboard buttons.

After redoing control s for sound toggle and it still does the same function. Sound toggle will read as same command I set it to in game but still use old command. Is there a edit I can do?

I think I found the correct lines for it.
