TL.net ESPORTS 4 Posts September 12 2023 19:14 GMT #1 2022-23 ESL Pro Tour - Open Cups: Week #192 (September 11th) by Wax There were few surprises in Week #192 of the Open Cups as the usual suspects came away with the first place prize on all three servers. First, ByuN triumphed on the Korean server, beating herO narrowly in a 3-2 finals. The European cup went to Clem, who defeated MaxPax 3-1 in the deciding bout. Gamers8 champion Reynor made his first appearance in months, off-racing for much of the bracket and even defeating SpeCial's Terran as Protoss. However, he bowed out in the semifinals against Clem, who played on even footing by off-racing himself (Clem's P/Z defeated Reynor's Terran). Finally, Dark won on the American server defeating GuMiho 3-1 in the finals. Wayne (aka Rattata/Vanya) produced the upset of the week by beating ByuN in the quarterfinals, but was in turn defeated by Dark in the semis.
