Maru vs Creator is the saddest match I can think of. Maybe it's because I see Creator as a really tragic figure in general, but goddamn. Creator should get crushed. And by his former long-time teammate, who totally eclipsed him.

but yeah, totally agree. Dude has always played with his heart on his sleeve, and that (plus staying with prime til the very end) hasn't always done him favors in terms of results, but it's always made him easy to root for. Would love to see creator get his moment in the sun after all these years. I think it's easy to forget on account of maru playing in 2010 season 1 that creator is not even six months older than him

BS format... Which friggin "genius" thought it was a good idea? You will be happy now to see Dark or PartinG to get eliminated while someone like Percival or else advance just to get stomped on ro16? Bring old format back next season for good!!!

It might be the last season it happens, the next one will have at least Stats, Zest and TY not being able to play; this format will make more sense with the upcoming wave of retirements.

Some really good match ups in here, Dark vs. Parting is definitely the match to watch though.

I'd say Dark will take it but Parting is no slouch, just because he hasn't had the most awesome of results lately doesn't mean he can't turn it on and play at a very very high level.

I've always thought Bo5 is the best to figure out which player is actually better. Only premium cheese can bring you through a Bo5. We are talking about Pule cheese, the 600$/kg type made out of GOAT milk. Stinky and delicious.
