Haha, I'm kidding, it takes two to make a great interview, and this was very enjoyable. Thank you to everybody involved and good luck to all the contestants!

Just like hellions pokes at zerg creep and harasses early game to keep the zerg honest the void ray has the same function. You do not sit and say to Terran oh they are doing the hellion build, "oh my god" What else can Protoss do to keep zergs honest in a macro game? if you nerf the void ray we are back to where we were, all in adepts every game and pray to zerg messed up because no one can win a macro game vs zerg. So far the zergs only argument for voidray build is to strong is because they cant all inn it and beat it with 100% win rate. a safe macro build should stop any all in if you know its coming , that's the whole idea of a safe macro build. Where does this notion come from that if you cant all inn and kill the current vciod ray build ( which you can if protoss does not react with defenses btw) then it is broken. Mind you protoss are not all inning zerg with this void rays they are using them to stay safe and limit a zergs greed which was one of the old main imbalanced things in the matchup because zerg could expand unchecked and do whatever they want if protoss tried to play macro. I am seriously amazed how much hate protoss gets in this community, I've mentioned it in many old posts as well its honestly a problem. Stop trying to influence a matchup it is ruining the growth of the game. Zerg was broken for years before they fixed , a couple of months with void rays and the whole community is in an uproar and protoss has not even won a MAJOR PREMIER TOURNEMENT YET.

Though I can't recall that I wrote anything about Trap and Zest being favoured over Reynor.

Those are the only major premier tournaments because of how hard they are to win because of format and level of competition. Would you honestly say "Dreamhack Last Chance" is as competitive and prestigious as a GSL or IEM Katowice world finals?. Like I don't know how to discuss something with people like you, you stated the facts yourself and then ignore them.

Would be interesting to know if Lambo is currently full-time and if he delayed or finished his studies. It seems like he puts all his time into his practice, stream and the amazing youtube content. I really hope it works out for him (financially as well) and joining shopify rebellion is obviously great news.

Yes there are, pretending the opposite is just having no idea about the state of the scene currently or conveniently ignoring facts that don't align with your narrative. On the topic : great interview, thanks.

I mean if you wanna draw the prestigious line between Katowice and DH Last Chance that's definitely fair but idk if Katowice is more "competitive" than DH Last Chance. It has almost the same player lineup +/- a few. Trap's opponent's at DH Last Chance were Parting, Byun, Rogue, Solar, Clem, and Serral which I don't think is any easier of a run than whoever wins IEM will have to go through That being said I do think the weekend vs season tournament argument is valid given the difference between say a GSL season and a Super Tournament despite having essentially the same players

This distinction between premier and "major premier" is 100% just you moving goalposts in bad faith--if Protoss had won a GSL instead of the last chance tournament you'd be going on about how Protoss has not won an "international premier" (with Serral and Reynor) instead. Which is why this whole "major premier" thing is such a specious argument. You obviously aren't only looking at those tournaments--in fact if you were only looking at such a narrow set your premise that zerg has been OP for years can't really be justified--this is just some category created for argument.
