Yes, TIME is really good, this year, China would have probably gotten their representative in a legit way, but because the rules aren't same for everyone, we won't find out. I guess we will not agree on heromarine's personality, I don't like players who don't respect their opponents, but I see how it could increase the excitement. I'd rather get the excitement from not knowing who will get in... No, the GSL wouldn't change it. They'd get into trouble with the police. And the government isn't going to recognize Taiwan, because China is far too important to anger.
I'm quite sure that US police wouldn't care that someone shows a tiny Taiwanese flag next to player's name or displays the word Taiwan, especially, since there is, to my knowledge, no law forbidding it. As for the backlash, Chinese scene is big, but not nearly as big as the rest of the foreign scene, so I think they'd chose the lesser backlash. Either way, I doubt it will sufficient support and I'm afraid we are going way too off topic, just wanted to voice my disagreement .

Ultimately it's a Blizzard tournament and it's not in Blizzards interest to go against anything that jeopardizes revenue from such a large market.

On a serious note that's not gonna happen because this is a Blizzard tournament and if Blizzard wants to keep doing business in China they're gonna respect the Chinese law which doesn't recognise Taiwan as a sovereign state, and yes the Chinese scene is not bigger than the rest of the foreign scene but I wonder what makes you think those 175 countries who don't recognise Taiwan would join this protest.

I come from weibo for Scarlett, but it looks like her votes cannot pass reynor. anyway i think serral is the only one can takedown top kr players ,reynor needs more time.

it's strange. You want absolute fair? so please realise all Korea players to wcs ! IT is already be splitted into kr and circuit, why China cannot get a position in this fans-oriented match?
btw its not Taiwan flag it's the flag of People's China. And pls don't start this kind of discussion here, can't we just have Fun?

Hello. I have a question. We vote once per race, correct?
Also, only once or can we vote each day?
Since four players advance, maybe allow us to vote four times?
I would want heromarine, reynor, showtime, and scarlett to represent team world. Not sure to vote for reynor or scarlett though...

I would want heromarine, reynor, showtime, and scarlett to represent team world. Not sure to vote for reynor or scarlett though... Once per race and only one time. Not each day. Since there's a wild card spot and you want both Reynor and Scarlett to make it, you should probably vote for the one with less votes right now since the other one will win the Zerg poll anyway.

The fourth player to advance to the tournament will be the one who gets the next-highest amount of votes of players from all races.

I am glad the state of balance is good when the tournament is on, I hope a patch won't de-rail balance.
Serral, Reynor, Showtime, Neeb, Heromarine, Special, Time. Seems fine. I think Elazer would have the best hope of winning games after that but scarlet will probably do better in the vote.
Maru, (TY / Inno/ Maybe Cure at the moment), Dark, soO, Classic, Trap (Zest / Stats / herO).
Zest seems good right now, unfortunate he is not an option. I don't think Parting deserves such a big vote.
Fantasy prob has big vote from BW fans but in fairness to Fantasy he seems to be trying to work out a more efficient approach to Terran which I feel is much healthier for the game than to keep doing the same thing and ask for patches to solve problems which is too common. Cure is also having great results but only gets 3% of the vote? In the last ~month he won 4-0 vs all of: Classic, Zest & herO. 4-2 Inno, 3-1 Keen, 3-4 soO.
I want to see HeroMarine smashed by a Protoss so hard that it removes his delusion and fixes his unhealthy mentality as I think he represents EU/world terran badly in regards his personality/what he says. This is extra unfortunate because he has an audience, reminds me of avilo a bit to be honest, a shame.

Don't worry, your vote still helps and Scarlett will also qualify. The person with the most votes from each race gets through, and then the next highest voted player overall also qualifies. Scarlett likely won't pass Reynor, but she's in a good position to get the fourth spot.
|
I think the main issue is that it has to be 1 of each race. You wouldn't have to worry about hiding vote counts and "strategic voting" if it were done this way. Just top 4 get spots regardless of race. Plus we wouldn't have to deal with all these foreign terran players

Best foreign Terran is special. Second best foreign Terran is Scarlet off-racing, but there are no write in categories so I had to vote for her as Zerg

Time 有牌面!!!!GO FOR IT.WE ARE PROND OF YOU!!!!!

I hope Scarlett wins the Wildcard!! She is the wildcard, never know how deep she will go in a tournament XD

Glad that Time is invited, I think he's undeniably top 3 non-korean Terran right now. Pity that the new WCS format means he hasn't been televised that much...
