I mean if you Russian - u better change ur passport to some other country or find urself in different games .
Also i love to play wc3 , but enjoyed play sc2 as well , and reason of retirement not something " lost couple of games and tilt " . My current mmr on bar-code on eu server was around 6700 , and i felt pretty confident in overall progressing ( even if it's connected to current protoss-patch ) .I felt like i play better in pvp's vs notable players , so compared to other protoss-players my skill growed up . But europe region is europe region . U can progress a lot , but u still behind better players , and number of slots/space are so little . Look at last challanger-qualifers . Such a giants of eu-sc2 as Bly and Mana couldnt qualify in top-16 eu . Concurence increased a lot due the state of game last years . Some should get out of this eco-system . It's personal decision like Snute's Happy's etc.
Soi see global objectives and reasons to this switch due my perspectives and career . Thx everyone who cheered for me in sc2
Yes the scene is doing way better with come backs, more tournaments and I am pretty sure more viewers. Thorzain is in here and he almost managed to beat Happy in bo7.
just play what you want, i spent +5year playing wc3 and bunch of time playing sc2 aswell, and im not planning to play wc3 ever again, at the end of the day, the heroes in wc3 limits the amount of strategies you can do, and basically revolve around in total 1-2 builds in race vs all other races, with optimized creep paterns and everything else along with it, sc2 has much more variaty, for example drops in wc3 basically doesnt exist..

It exists too in wc3, in some extent at least, with drop zeppelin. But the games are very differents and I agree for the variety.

Pro gaming is only possible if one can make a living out of it, visa problems really make a really difficult task borderline undoable.
I just really hope Blizz don’t botch Warcraft Reforged
The competitive RTS scene needs other games to do well, even if they’re older games. SC Remastered helped a bit, if WC3 can get a bigger niche that would be cool too. Even it being announced has helped the scene there and there’s more content there than there was before, definitely helped me get back into the game:
I love all 3 games, so being able to watch/play all three more often really helps me from burning out on RTS as much.

Best wishes for you. As far as I know, there are several War3 tournaments each year in China, such as Gold league and the reborn WCG.WIsh you could come.
Well, many returned to it, even Stabuck who qualified for last WCS But I dont see reforged making huge impact on wc3 scene, its too small and cash deprieved. I did come back to sc2 even tho my first RTS was wc3, and I loving it, but game is broken with NELF patch and it will remain like that, so I see many returning to sc2 aswell. Even tho it isnt perfect its far better balanced then wc3.

Night Elves aren't that broken anymore.
Activision-Blizzard will surely sponsor new tournaments after Reforged's release.
