The round-of-32 group stage in WCS Winter 2019 continued as MaNa and HeRoMaRinE advanced from WCS Europe's Group B, while Scarlett and Epic advanced from Group B in WCS Americas. WCS Winter continues on February 2nd, with Elazer, Harstem, Starbuck, and Brat_OK competing in WCS Europe while Kelazhur, Cham, Demi, and Vindicta will contend for RO16 spots in WCS Americas.

Scarlett has ping because she has decided to stay in Korea while playing a tournament that does not include Korea. But WCS Americas include SEA, so they shouldn't have to deal with that issue... It's like "An indian player has the same right to participate in WCS Americas than a NA player, but this will be host solely in Central Server so they will have to deal with ping, feelsbad SEA players ¯\_(ツ)_/¯". That is unfair.... in case they haven't switched servers, which I don't know. | ||

2-3 mapscore, and both of those wins looked like lucky breaks. Epic starts off with a mistake or misjudgment that should have lost the game, but ExpecT doesn't close it out. After Epic's back in the game, some medivacs happen to find Vikings, or a scan spots ExpecT's tank line just as it's repositioning, and ExpecT's army evaporates in an instant. I guess TvT really is that volatile these days? | ||
