I am disappointed that I have to wait until Q3 (I hoped that all Blizzard organized WCS events will have their own War Chests!), but I will definitely buy at least one War Chest. Depending on the price, maybe one for each account I own. | ||

We currently plan on the first War Chest to be made available in Q3 of this year. A portion of proceeds from that War Chest season will go toward increasing the prize pool for the 2017 WCS Global Finals over the base prize pool of $500,000. We Dota 2 now!! :D Good signs though keep improving the game Blizzard | ||

Well i like to have some control myself, which is why i like starcraft so much (and prefer csgo to other team games because you have a bigger impact there as well). So it's probably still not for me. But yeah at the beginning heroes felt kinda boring and even though there was a lot of teamfighting it never felt all that tense or exciting imo. Good that they improved that aspect! | ||

It feels more like an effort to retain existing players through the War Chest's progression system, monetary/time investment into getting the cosmetics, and crowdfunding for the WCS prizepool. One way it could draw new players is to tie ladder access to its purchase. | ||
