Do not talk about MarineKing even if you are defending him. Just don't do it. Please no match-fixing accusations on MarineKing or any other player if it has not officially been confirmed. This goes for other players too. -The_Templar

Maybe if this - or another blow just like it, further down the road - kills Korean SC2, then I'll be angry. What a shame.

In the other thread it was alrdy said, that the trade was initiated by Life himself and that neither KT nor Afreeca knew anything about this. But anyway, this is just really bad, i fear for a remake of the BW downfall...

Not getting access to the funds until you're 18 (which most pro players are anyway) won't make them more financially responsible. I guess you could make the case that team houses should teach the players to be more responsible with money since they drop out of school so young. k, I'm sure it's a great idea to give kids access to 100k in prize money, nothing bad can ever happen. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2016/01/lottery-winners-research/423543/ Winning prize money has both features of gambling and lotteries, gambling because players think it's repeatable and lotteries because of the high amount of money appearing from seemingly nowhere. Now, I'm not saying that if a pro-gamer dreams for years of winning money, tries his hardest, is a responsible person, gives it a lot of thought and planning etc. that things will necessarily go wrong. But if you find yourself at the age of 14 in a new game to have sudden and unexpected access to vast potential sums of prize money, don't you think that could have negative consequences? It can be too much responsibility and pressure. Would you have wanted a million dollars when you were 14 or would you rather have it in 10 installments of $100k starting from when you were 20? I would choose the latter now, but I don't know if I would have made the same decision when I was 14 myself. Maybe sometimes people have to be protected against themselves?

I hoped Life would find a way, maybe he was innocent all along or maybe he did it under a Life threat. After the confirmation i got sad, i felt like giving up on Life. Now everything is clear, there is no Life left on this game. So now i make jokes about it. i hate to break it to you but you're not funny

We don't fucking know. Anybody claiming to who isn't directly involved in the business or the case doesn't know, and even they can stand to lose or gain something, so you can never know what they say is the truth. Now, is it possible he did just match fix and that's it? Yes. We can't possibly know the truth. Even if they put convict him. Many innocent people have spent their lives indicted of something they didn't do. pitiful!

Life was exceptionally young for winning this much money. Comparable to Flash I guess who won his OSL when he was 15. Most are already a bit older. The point I was trying to make is that withholding the cash for a few years isn't going to make them more responsible with it. Though educating them in the team house or something might. I agree that making a lot of cash at a young age has negative consequences for some. Just look at all the football players who spend money like crazy and often go personally bankrupt only a few years after retirement. And these guys make a lot more in a year than life did in his career until now. Again though I doubt witholding the cash or giving it in instalments is going to make them responsible with it.

Now that I calmed down, I can only prayed, and hope for the best, and wish that there aren't any more players involved in this incident. It's already bad enough as it is

Sorry homie but the outrageous scenarios you just painted are far more outlandish than Life simply taking bribes to fix a match. Logic > storytelling
