Ultimately, I think some of the changes to Terran and Zerg are bulls*** overpowered. And I LOVE it. I want them to start off with all kinds of bulls*** OP crap so we can see how crazy things can get.

Which is why I'm disappointed at the Protoss changes. They don't seem anywhere near as bulls*** OP as the Terran and Zerg changes, and I WANT them to be.

I'm a Terran Player BTW.

Seriously. This is freaking awesome! Every single change mentioned is incredible! I have been playing since broodwar and I thought LOTV was just going to bring 1 unit to each race but damn I was wrong! Blizzard seems like they really want to bring this game back to the forefront of Esports! 12 starting workers! That is sick! Lets face it ladies and gents the first 5-6mins of EVERY game sucked ass. Hell, even the announcers have a hard time making those first minutes entertaining because its just eco building. . . . and the fact that it only takes 12 to saturate a base! F**** sweet! SC2 is going to consist of quick skirmishes instead of these massive A-move battles. Late game battles should be earned and not be apart of the norm. Blizz nailed it again with the units announcements! Micro is the name of the game. hellz yes. Again, this A-move stuff makes current sc2 just a game of numbers. I love the thought of smaller squads taking on larger ones and winning because of strategy. It seems like blizz wants to make every unit playable withing their prospective races. battlecrusiers, carriers and finally corrupter are F***ing useful! That BC warp ability is sick nasty and I can't stand terran! lol. I hope to Zeratul If Blizzard keeps anything from these proposed changes it is the change to the economy system. That only would make SC2 a much exciting game. It appeals to both casual and hardcore players alike. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HYPED!

some great changes. a lot of lols changes but dont think these are gonna make it in anyways.

blizzard is notorious for designing units from an aesthetic/'fun' point of view first and then balancing from there through betas so whatever.

really hope the campaign is hard this time. brutal hots was such a joke

I'm like you, I hate change in general and I didn't feel SC2 was in need of that kind of change. I'm especially worried for P that already has trouble maintaining 4 bases and won't be a lot more mobile in LotV (and overcharge doesn't hit air units any more, lol, medivacs now have free reign on the P base until you have blink). But this could end up being great, so I'm not set on those ideas.

It worked for BW because there was no infinite units selection and also other game engine-specific limitations

I watched the videos again. That sounds like a lot of fun (: only things that are imo more or less bullshit are the Cyclone which looks op as fuck, and the colossus still being there despite the addition of the Disruptor. No need for P to have 2 different robo AoE units. Also it would have been nice to see the Corruptor become an actually microable and fun to play unit instead of a VR on steroids, but well

Seems like LotV Lurker may be similar to the WoL Lurker that they cut just prior to the WoL beta. Both are long-range siege units that outrange base defenses. I dunno about the other stats though. WoL Lurker did bonus against armored, so it was kinda Siege Tank-like.
