Bro, there are bigger changes than just new units
How about that 12 starting worker and 1000 per mineral patch. That is going to fuck the 3 base meta for sure.
5 base meta incoming.
And everyone whines because games are long, stale and boring.
If you watched the videos, you couldnt say this. It is very obvious they realize these kind of games are bad and added several options to all races to end the stalemate in an instant. Warping BCs? Tempests DoT? Zergs with invincible nyduses? etc etc

I have no issues with them trying some of this stuff even though it probably wont make the final version of the game. It seems like this is how Broodwar became epic ..bunch of OP shit that somehow miraculously worked out into a great, balanced game. Not comparing the 2 games because they are obvsiously very different...but the approach, heh why not? Lets see what happens.

Definitely not. I had the same feeling when the first announcements were made for HotS (the replicant... my heart stopped beating in front of so much stupidity) and don't worry, Blizzard will listen to pros/community and make LotV playable. Some ideas are fine, but the obviously broken (warp BCs !) and stupid things (my nydus is invisible duh) need to disappear quickly so that we're talking about reasonable changes.
Exactly, Blizzard has shown they're willing to make huge changes in beta for all their games. Remember the warhound? Remember artifacts in Heroes? Remember when Phoenixes couldn't attack while moving?

Good riddance and I look forward to never seeing it again on this side of entropic heat death.
I endorse all of the changes in whatever form this hit the final product. The whole focus seems to be on micro micro micro and getting units into the fight faster.
And that immortal change, how awesome is that. Now I can finally build them for something thats not just killing tanks.

The three changes that will disappear once the videos have been seen by anyone in charge with a brain. But I can understand where they are going, it doesn't seem a bad idea, but this will have to be made very carefully. If it's too hard to ever get 4-5 bases most games will be played 2-3 bases all-in.

I am willing to bet you (not really lol) that warping BCs and the DoTs from Tempests will stay. The nydus stuff will dissapear for sure though :p Same as corruptors and I think also some nerfs to the carriers as shown will be first things changed.
