I think players should avoid balance talk even if asked and talk with Blizzard behind the scenes if they feel it's that big of a deal. | ||

I also think the protosses in GSL should not worry. I predict no more than 5 terrans in Code S next season and there will be big changes to maps so the meta-game is in a state of change right now. | ||

I wonder if all the old guys are so against regular patching because brood war was never patched during their prime as pro gamers or if they simply think that these balance issues aren't as severe as most people in the foreign community believe. I guess when you see bisu beat savior in that kind of a situation you start to believe that everything can be overcome through strategy. I just wish Blizzard would have actually made an eSports game (fuck them for claiming they did) by using former progamers for design and having them playtest from the first alpha version and even more importantly have them call on how often/when to patch. I feel for DK though, top koreans screaming for less patches while the foreign community is still mad about them not addressing GGlord/festor before HOTS. I just feel like this may backslash hard against Protoss, maps played the biggest part in the strength of blink allins and the s2 map pool looks a lot less blink friendly than the current one and I fear that a nerf in maps + in balance may tip the scales of balance a bit too hard. Sadly knowing DK he won't wait for Protoss player to adapt, similiar to how he didn't wait for Terran to adapt, and he'll buff P again or some shit. I really wish this game wouldn't be balance like a MOBA by constantly changing shit based on the current meta but rather by waiting if problems continue to exist on different maps and over a long period of time and then stepping in. | ||
