All you have to do is install it again. After I installed it again I get a constant 200+fps. Things really get buggy if you change ANY settings after applying the hybrid settings as pointed out in the first post, so make sure you don't need to change anything before applying or you will have to install it again.
Everything is working very good so far and I recommend everyone to use it.
Will try that later then.
~120fps is bad? How dare you, that's disgusting. If you play on extreme graphics what is the average FPS?

Lovely. The only thing I miss is the lighting on the ground around factories when they produce stuff. I guess that's part of some of the shadow/lighting settings overall?

At first everything was pink but I deleted the Program Data files as mentioned in the OP and that fixed it nicely. Then I was kinda thinking its too bright but after a little getting used to I realized that this is fucking kick-ass. Everything is so damn crisp and clean looking I feel like it makes me play faster just by being able to easier sort through what I'm seeing. Thanks so much for this guys its pretty damn awesome!

Hey, so I've installed of this and first I'd like to say thanks, this is awesome, I definitely want to use this regularly
buuuuut, I'm having a bit of problem with Freezes / Stutters since I installed this. I'm still getting well over 200 FPS, it's just that now I'm having 3-4 "network lag spikes" per minute. I've looked at the OP but not sure where to find the hidden files he was referring to. Can anyone help me get rid of these screen stutters?

Remove lighting=0 from your variables.txt Clear cache from ProgramData / BlizzardEntertainment / StarCraft II (this folder might be hidden, google how to show hidden folders) Turn everything in game settings to Low Turn everything in game settings to Ultra (with relaunches) Turn everything in game settings to Low again Make "Scan and Repair" in Battle.Net launcher (under SC2 logo Options > Scan and Repair) Copypast Hybrid options to the end of your variables.txt Launch the Preloader map (you may find it in the Arcade)

I like most of this, but I have a LED screen and I think its all a bit too bright, what should I change in order to get the brightness back to normal? I like everything else so I dont wanna mess anything up

Is there a way i can keep these settings but instead of blobs i have the actual shadows? I feel its helpful sometimes to see a flying unit's shadow that is barely out of my field of vision.

If not just wait for Existor to read thread

Blob-shadows is different case

If not just wait for Existor to read thread lighting=0 turns ALL shadows, including ultra ones. That the universal parameter that turns off shiny/glossy effect, but also turns off all the shadows, except blob ones.
So if you want to have Ultra settings without shiny graphic - just add lighting=0, but it will also remove shadows.

Not the case, the shadow only appears when you have vision of the unit itself.

It might be worth mentioning that using "bitdepth=16" will not allow you to stream SC2 efficiently eg with OBS game capture, since the GPU textures will be in the wrong format. Most modern video cards should generally perform better with 32 bit color anyway.

Also it seems like blob-shadows dissapearing still. TLO and unleashed_eu are playing without blob-shadows -_- They both are Hybrid-testers.

@existor probably changed a setting after copy-pasta...

I have been running sc2 on linux fine for about a year now. I wanted to try the hybrid settings, but after applying them I get a red screen right after starting the game. Anyone have an idea which command might be causing that? I've tried emptying the cache fwiw...
