3 Lurkers vs 2 Firebats, 12 Marines, 2 Medics. Stim and range researched. No micro besides sending the Firebats up first.
Lurkers are too weak.
A little stop micro/targeting and those marines get eaten alive. Maybe they are too weak, but lets give it some time first. We don't want another SC2 on our hands tt
And a little micro from Terran and you can pull this off without losing a single Marine. Not sure about "giving it some time", Lurkers aren't magically going to become more effective overnight. They've mentioned they're going to make some changes to the Baneling, but with that then I really think they should take at look a the Lurker too. It just doesn't do its job very well.

You know exactly what he meant, metagame changes DO happen overnight, what now can be considered UP tomorrow will may be OP, i highly think that this issue should be given time, even a slight buff to the lurkers could create some pretty ugly timings attacks and consequences that we can't quite predict.
You shouldn't be able to call down scvs on tanks. I had a bio player literally sit in his base with OCs and just call down scvs until the majority of my tanks were dead.

Lurkers are Under powered and are not filling the role that they are intended too No meta shift can change that. This is why we see so much Ling bane and very little 3 hatch tech. People where not dooms-daying about Mraders being buffed. The fact is Lurkers are just not controlling space vs Bio and that is one of the reasons 3 hatch tech builds are bust right now.

What's wrong with that? It's a legitimate strategy. Simply because you don't like it doesn't warrant a change like that.

If I had to choose one Brood War unit to join the SC2 roster, it’d be the Lurker. I’m a Zerg player and I always loved the traps you could set with that unit and the iconic sound of the spines tearing your enemy apart. On that note, I’m sure you’ve already heard of/played the Starbow mod where you can play SC2 with Brood War units. The mod makers have done an amazing job of blending old school Brood War with the feel of modern SC2. It’s glorious fun and if you haven’t yet (or your readers haven’t), you owe it to yourself to check out the mod map currently available in the free Arcade.

I might be wrong, but all of the games I've seen Lurkers pretty much wreck everything(except for Tanks of course). They have 3 more damage and 15 HP more than in BW, and I don't think that they are weak at all.
Better pathfinding is obviously working against Lurkers being as effective as in BW. On the other hand their base stats are slightly better. I would say that Lurkers are about even with their BW strength level, but players might have to use them slightly differently to get the same results. It might be that holding a ramp requires a bit different positioning and more micro. A lot of experimentation is needed to know if Lurkers in their current form are weaker, stronger or simply different.
If they do need a buff (doubt it atm, but with DS-Tank inteactions getting a fix they might) I would probably go for projectile speed or width of aoe.
You guys need a way of reporting or blocking people who afk when you get matched with them. I have so many forfeit losses on eu from hitting the same two guys every game and having them just afk while pming me in bnet to just forfeit because they aren't going to play.
And if you want to keep playing then you have to forfeit, but if you forfeit and re search, you hit the same guy again, who does it again.

Try testing Lurkers vs bio in the Starbow Tester, even without Marauders you'll find that they're actually quite poor at holding ground.

They do rape Bio, I don't know how and what did you test, but Terran absolutely needs Tanks and/or SVs to counter Lurkers. Without Marauders, your Marines and Firebats will die to Lurkers. I am not talking about 3-5 Lurkers against a ton of Bio, but I am talking about good positioned Lurkers in bigger numbers like 10 Lurkers with Ling support.
