2) Queens also provide a bit of an extra AA defense.
This should make Hydras heavy vs Muta better (ceteris paribus). It might not be enough ofc - time will tell.

I'm pretty sure people will figure out a new way of spreading, try playing around with selected units that don't move, larvae is a good choice because they count as units and not structures. I'm thinking there's a way to manipulate Mutas that the devs don't even realize, do some experimentation, you might find something cool. I already did countless times, I was pretty happy when I found the highspeed slowdown, but now it got "balanced", on the other hand, maybe you need no more way to spread, they are far enough appart now to just pick the one you want with 90%+ accuracy, just overall a change that has not grown on me and feels like removed micro, maybe muta's were too strong in their "superclump", but that was while irradiate could not kill a single one of them. | ||

I've also noticed this. Even with the fast +1 air weapons that became popular towards the end of BW (Bisu still does it a lot on Afreeca) you can't kill scourge that effectively. Becomes a little to difficult to deal with muta sniping on templar if even corsairs aren't adequate to deal with zerg air. | ||

I figured that they need AoE to prevent too much stacking and to force the enemy to spread and actually micro. But large amount of Corsais usually kill them before they manage to hit them.
