On a side note, I don't get why Dohee forfeited? I mean yea, like someone said, if the other team only crosses the line one at a time, then Dohee wont be able to press red 4 times; BUT you have to remember Boxer is on Dohee's side, so can't he technically mess it up once for the other side? I mean sure it's still a small chance as they would have to guess, but still better than forfeiting.
There's apparently a story going around on Naver, it was (allegedly) originally posted by someone who claimed to be a staff member on the genius show. It says that after jiwon betrayed them and hit red, Dohee was too shocked to keep playing, and just collapsed in a corner and cried for a while. He then told the pd's that he wasn't able to play anymore, and that he believed there was no realistic chance of him winning anyway so he wanted to just forfeit. It was just one of the things which got edited out by the production team as part of the "protecting the broadcasters image/reducing backlash" they were talking about at the press conference.
There's literally zero chance for him to win. Well, barring a serious mistake from Yooyoung. Sending over one person per round is a certain win.
Actually, there is still a really slim chance since Boxer is on the team. Rightfully, Yooyoung will send one person across the line in each round and if everything works out, Doohee's team can only defend 3 times and lose the last round when the last person cross over. However, Boxer is on Doohee's team. He can just cross over when it is NOT his turn to do so. That means 2 person get red-lighted in one round and there's 2 more red lights saved for the last 2 person. But judging from his mental state at that time, I think it's rather hard for him to want to go through the DM and attempt to win. D=
Boxer can then agree, but instead chooses not to cross over in that round. In the end, YooYoung's team will be at 0 points and there's still 3 red lights left for the remaining 3 rounds.
After re-watching ep6, noticed a big IF that is making pull my hair off.
- The broadcasters were using dohee ID to stock up on him the most type of a resource, so that he would lose so they could use him to pick yellow for the DM and be safe for retaliation.
- The results show dohee had 7 of the same type, steel, which needs 8 of a kind to be monopolized.
- At the end, along with a shabby excuse, jiwon gives back dohee his ID.
and now the big IF
- If dohee just didn't give up and take it all for lost, checked his cards with the returned ID, before going to talk to sangmin for the token, he could see he had 7 of a kind and trade with boxer who had the last steel, and win the game.
If he was fast enough he could have won and send whoever wanted to the DM. The broadcaster did a major blunder, because to be safe, they could have giving dohee 6 of the resource and keep 1 just to be safe. They took the game for granted the moment they took the ID, and become overconfident. I would give anything to see the faces they would do if that situation did arise.

You misunderstand the results. Doohee did not have 7 of a kind. He had 7 DIFFERENT kind of resources.
I kinda realised something but I dont really know what I should infer from it. At the end of ep6, when doohee was explaining why he trusted Jiwon so badly, all the broadcasters started laughing. It just seem that they knew what kind of person is Jiwon or is it something else. Opinions?

They're laughing that he was so desperate to belong to the 'celebrity' crowd that he actually believed something no one else would have. He betrayed yoonsun in episode 5 because he truly believes he's in league with the celebrities. He follows wat yoyoung says in episode 4 (the part where they spoke to the camera and say eunkyul contribution wasnt much thats why they wont help eunkyul). At that point in time I speculated that doohee was with the broadcaster gang because he was a contractor to the production thus dependent on them. Turns out he was with the broadcasters because he truly believed himself to be part of the broadcaster gang. So foolish that its laughable had it not been the bad way the broadcasters dumped him after he was no longer useful.
Donno if you guys noticed but i was rewatching and the first time Sangmin tries a code in the safe, i think he purposefully puts in the wrong number while Jiwon is there. (im thinking maybe he was trying to use Jiwon to get the token safely, without having to actually give anything to Jiwon for helping) but then he actually opens it with Jiwon there so i donno. Also, right after that, Yooyoung and Jinho come into that room, and the both immediately look at where the safe is (like they're checking to see if anything was moved)....so I'm guessing Yooyoung knew where the safe was before this episode also.
And then ALSO when sitting in that garage room Jinho picks up Doohee's ID card to look and see who's it is, At this point he should have told Doohee to be more careful with it! This whole thing could have been avoided if Jinho was thinking about it, but like he said his brain was all on the token of immortality for the first part of this episode.
One last thing I want to reiterate is that since there's no Kyungran this season, Sangmin has been able to run rampant doing anything and everything he wants. This i think is the big problem with the episode/season. Mainly b/c he's so focused on outing everybody's favorite Storm Zerg
I don't know if this has been brought up. But when I was watching season 1 episode 1 they said that Stealing is not allowed. I remember this because it bugged me that Yellow lost his garnet the same way that episode. And then they gave it back to him in the end pretending it was someone else, right?
But this episode s2e6 must be close to crossing the line for the rule of not stealing? I don't know, it just feels disgusting. It didn't even feel like a game at all. All focus were on the token and the ID, almost nothing on the game itself. Most boring and tragic episode -.- I cheered for Duhee as well

Yes, it was cheating and should not have been allowed. UnKooL posted that the producers have apologized for not stopping it and have accepted the blame.

Maybe Dohee & Yellow thought stealing is out of the question. It is about playing the game, and alliance.
About Sangmin 1st error, I think he just put the sequence (page number) in wrong order. He is already sweating kekekeke.
Thanks for subbing this! I guess it was tough to sub this considering Jinho's pronunciation? : D
Just asking out of curiosity @ Clefairy: Did you watch the broadcast, in which Jinho appears to be a MC? Something with "19" in it, can't remember the whole name. If so, is it any good?

It's not good unless you like watching a show about dating/relationships in korea and it's mostly aimed for woman. They go through situations/problems real life woman in relationships send in and kong and singer hong jin young go act them out and see what the woman or the man should have done differently and the MC who is apparently a relationship guru or something tell them this is how you should act. It's not very entertaining and kong isn't very good in it.
Thank you for subbing the radio show Clefairy! Man, how can you work so fast? Are you a one man show? Very impressive considering I used to download anime and k-drama few years back and a whole subbing team couldn't work as fast as you do.
