the same type of people who were mad when infestors got nerfed

Bio into air and mech into air are both viable transitions, bio into mech will never happen. I said I want to see it. It's friggin cool.

That sounds OK. 1 gas cloak banshee seems a bit OP.

It is total bullshit. I have just watched Fantasy vs. Snute today - Fantasy went for a banshee and a viking. Killed 7 overlords with the viking and because Snute didn't go for mutas, he never ever moved out from his base coz he had no anti-air. Zerg has two anti-air somehow decent units. Mutas are so fragile vs. Terran and hydras are just crap unless you go roach hydra which is not cost effective in late game.
I am not saying it is a big change. But any buff to air units while Zerg doesn't get any buff to his anti-air is fucking stupid. In the last three months I have seen hundreds of ZvT's and definately more than 70% of Zerg's wins was caused by some kind of all in.

kind of disappointed, I really liked the hellbat drop style, considering only Inno and Flash were capable of doing it right it obviously wasn't too easy.

Good change I guess, don't know what to think of the banshee one, but 200/200 did always seem high. Hellbats still wreck lings, so we'll see how TvZ goes.

Take the bio tag off of the hell bats now and everything will be good.

It's the only thing that matters, really.

I have for a while wondered why players would even bother with cloak, as detection was generally not an issue by the time banshees make it across modern maps - even command center first Terrans often don't even have to bother with more than one scan. A 100/100 price tag is much closer to what that ability is worth.

On July 09 2013 03:13 Clazziquai10 wrote:This may make cloak banshees off 1 gas a real possibility now.
That's probably the biggest impact this patch will have. It's a crazy change because the Hellbat nerf directly makes mech TvP worse, but the cloak cost decrease actually can make mech TvP better as well. In wings of liberty one of the only viable mech TvP openings was cloak banshee into mech, one can hope.
And this also sounds weird, but hopefully the cloak cost decrease gives Terran more all-in opportunities vs Protoss, as currently there are very few that can break through the mocore nexus.
Overall...don't really like that they weakened Hellbats vs P/Z as they weren't an issue there, it was just TvT that was the problem (although i'm sure Z/P players disagree).
