Played on Red city a few times now and vetoed it. So many fucking chokes. Still unsure how the new version of Newkirk is gonna be balancewise, probably a good swarmhost map, as 4-5 bases are pretty easy to get. | ||

Derelict Watcher is so bad, one of the worst map. Also, Red City is a bad map too. | ||

When Blizzard chooses some bad maps, WCS tournaments are going to do the same. We lost the old bottom-up way of influencing Blizzard's map choices from tournament organizers. After this season, it will no longer be that Blizzard chooses the some good GSL new maps, but that GSL and OSL have to use Blizzard ladder maps. When Blizzard makes some bad choices of ladder maps, all the WCS tournaments are going to adopt this bad choice. | ||

Im not sure whats your point: its exactly going in the opposite direction,with GSL/PL/(OSL) maps influecing Blizzard's decision on which ones to put in the ladder pool Before WCS we had less tournament maps Not to mention they said they are looking into the TL Map Contest for the next season | ||
