So why Papa John's specifically? Just because it got some media attention? Do you vet every company you purchase from? Do you think Papa John's is significantly worse than the other places you get your food?
Be consistent or drop the hypocritical idealism.
Papa johns is one of the more virulently anti-healthcare, anti gay companies in the United States. They entered the political arena for absolutely no purpose other than to peddle a ideological agenda. Please get informed.
Get informed yourself. If you see Papa John's as the epitome of corporate evil then you are ignorant and naive beyond belief. Have you ever purchased anything linked to Nestlé? You most probably have, even if you don't realize it. They have done far, far more despicable things than Papa John's. And they are far from the only example.
Trying to take the moral high ground when it comes to this specific company and then ignoring all the others only demonstrates how well the media can whip people up into a frenzy and how little people actually care about the morality of such organizations.
Horrible rationale, diminishing what Papa John's is trying to do in the political arena by stating that "it's ok to preach screwing your employees because everyone else is doing it privately".
So you mean there's a private company out there who's sole rationale is to maximize profits??! Thats absolutely audacious.
yes, opposing gay rights is really about maximizing profits.

Papa John's didn't do that, he had them confused with Chik-Fil-A

Are you dense? Papa John's is doing the promotion, why would they bring up other companies? Why are you trying so hard to appear above this?
I'm bringing up other companies because people are not applying the same standards to them that they are applying to Papa John's. If Papa John's crosses the line of being too evil to support for some people, then those people must be incredibly careful about vetting every product they buy because a great many companies are over that line.
I'm not trying to appear above this, I'm just frustrated by people shitting over a good step forward for eSports with the flimsiest faux outrage. Trying to take the moral high ground when they don't actually give a fuck about the morals behind the products they buy, just jumping on a media instigated bandwagon. It's a joke.
And some of the justifications are even more ridiculous. "Oh yeah other companies may do shit 100x worse but Papa John's are openly being cunts, that clearly makes them so much worse"
But flimsy faux outrage is what we do best at TL. Why would you try to take away the thing we do best? WHY?
Closest Papa johns is like an hour away from me. I'd order just to support root, but we have sick good pizza locally. I think it keeps all the chains away.

For the love of... STOP REPOSTING THIS!! The one guy that mentioned Papa John attacking gay marriage made a mistake. Try googling this stuff before bandwagoning. Or here, let me google that for you

It is coming from nowhere. People have been saying it and have provided nothing to show it. Links have been provided about the healthcare thing which everyone already knows about, but nothing about the anti-gay which a few people are throwing around.
