+ Show Spoiler + Just building a hatchery close on a huge map to "wall in" the opponent with Spines and creep seems like a viable strategy to me in any case. Spine Crawlers are powerful early on and relatively cheap and much more durable than Zerglings anyways. So you could lock an enemy in on two bases and a defensive posture to force him into Siege Tanks (really annoying if the Terran does not want to build them), Immortals or fully airlifting all his stuff out.

Stupid! Yes, but you need to prioritize. If you can avoid 3 mines killing 5 lings, and instead kill 8 banes + 20 lings, then that is worth a bit worse split. And if you are really good (GSL code S good), then you may be able to manage both quite well. As Idra said both races have so much to do that you can't do everything perfectly. Zergs also need to split, lead with small groups that split, flank, attack different group, target high priority targets, control banes properly, etc. No one has perfect control, but it is just a good thing that there are always ways to distinguish players with better control.

It was mostly zvx today though. Really nice show, hope Artosis keeps it up. I much prefer this over the other sc2 talk shows.
